Mandawa Kothi Hello friends, this is my first story. I want to start my story by looking at information about a the hotel which is in my friend's native place. Hope you like it. There are so many reasons that Mandawa Kothi, Rajasthan, India is so popular with travellers. The Kothi is an intimate heritage property, converted from an old haveli to become a modern boutique hotel Mandawa Kothi. Maybe you saw the movies PK, Mirza, or Bajrangi Bhaijaan? These movies and many others were set in Mandawa and show our beautiful haveli. Even Salman Khan spent time inside the Kothi in the first courtyard during the filming. Little is known about the man who originally built the Kothi. We do know his name was Shri Maan Seth Kedar Mal Ladia, and he was a businessman famous for importing pearls and other jewels in the time of the Silk Route. Our haveli is in the perfect location for a peaceful experience. Away from the noise of the tourist block in Mandawa, the Kothi is at the end of the Heritage Walk‌ a street of old, preserved havelis with beautifully painted walls. Each uniquely designed, with more room. History of MandawaMandawa is situated 190 km off Jaipur in the north. It is famous for fort and havelis. Which is made in the mid of 18th century. This place was known as Mandu ki dhani, Mandu ka bas or Manduwas which changed to Manduwa, Mandwa and finally ‘Mandawa’. Mandawa Fort-Fort of Mandawa Kothi is made by 18th century. Thakur Nawal Singh, son of Shardul Singh, founded the fort in Vikram Samvat 1812 . Havelis- This is 100-year-old Haveli is attractive for all tourists. Visitors can stay middle of the town, The Haveli has been converted into a Heritage.
