The Brief was to design a residence for a nuclear upper-middle class family in which the son is a budding actor in the Tamil Film Industry. The Site is in Thillai Nagar, one of the main hubs of the Trichy city. The design is modern and contemporary looking with natural play of light and landscape. The spaces are free-flowing and have visual connectivity among them. The design is both functional and Aesthatic. Use of modern materials and techniques gives a very rich and luxurious feel to the design.

Owing to changing life style and family values, innumerable senior citizens are expelled from modern day families and are forced to made to stay in old age homes. Although this phenomenon is observed happening for more than a decade, a new trend is beginning in the kind of facilities available at their disposal in the old age homes. The brief was to design an Old-Age Home/Retirement home keeping in mind the capabilities, requirements and aspirations of the senior citizens. The design idea was to provide utmost comfort to the senior citizens, provide all the necessary facilities and to make sure they feel at peace.

The brief was to design a Low-Rise Apartments which are affordable for the middle class people. The site was in outskirts of Gurugram. The design was focused on providing good ventilation and lighting into each space. Though it is affordable housing, the objective was to provide as many facilities as possible. Use of locally available materials and services such as rain water harvesting, help make the building energy efficient. The balconies are angled to make maximum use of the predominent winds from the west.

BALCONY The aim was to design a very relaxing and peaceful space. Having rich natural elements in a balcony space can really help deliver a relaxing and soothing feel to the user. The strong breeze that the space recieves being at the 11th floor also adds to the space and makes the space cozy and comfortable.
