I believe that truly great architecture caterers for both the people and the environment. For me architecture is more than just buildings, it is a language, it is a way of communicating creativity. We live in a time where innovation in the building industry is reaching new heights with the use of new technologies, we now have buildings, with shapes that could have only been made with the help of computers. The world around us is undeniably changing, global overpopulation and natural disasters is just a few of the challenges we will have to face in the not so far future. With that in mind sustainability and building green is more important than ever, and we need to make a change now, a change that we in this industry will have a great impact on. My goal within the industry is to help reach complete carbon neutral buildings, even buildings that would create more energy than they use, and in general up scaling of old buildings. It is vital that we help create communities that come together, with the help of architecture and intelligent urban planning, we can achieve respectable, good looking and highly efficient communities that not only serves the people but also helps people be more sustainable minded. This is also why my main interest within this industry is on sustainability and innovative technologies. I believe that combined, these are the two single most important factors to a more sustainable construction and thus future. During my education at KEA, I have obtained skills in various BIM software and furthermore I have skills in communication and Construction management as my elective focus has been on Construction management in 2 out of 3 electives. My time at KEA has taught me even more about group collaboration and how to be a good teamplayer.

02 - Townhouses

This project was the second family house project we did. The house was designed with 5 levels, including basement and roof terrace. The project was designed for a family consisting of 2 adults and 2 children with a requirement of space enough for guests. Semester project – Townhouses This project was an interesting task, as this was the first project during my time in kea, where we really got taught the technologies and how to assess different information from authorities and contractors etc. This project was created in Revit, most renderings from Lumion

The house is also suited with a terrace leading directly into a manmade pond, which was interesting as the project was situated in the middle of Copenhagen.
