The Lahti region is home to numerous small breweries and bakeries whose products are worth checking out and buying to take home with you.

KAHIWA COFFEE ROASTERS is an importer and roaster of raw coffee. You can taste the coffees at Kahiwa’s own wine café at Malski in Lahti. In addition to coffee roasted on the spot, you’ll find the most interesting wines of the wine world and freshly baked delicacies. www.kahiwacoffee.fi

VIIPURILAINEN KOTILEIPOMO is a familyrun bakery that focuses on craftsmanship. The bakery makes its bread from a starter dough, and only premium local ingredients are used. www.viipurilainen.fi

BREWERY & PUB ANT BREW is located in the traditional brewery building of Mallasjuoma in the centre of Lahti. In addition to the brewery’s own unfiltered beers, carefully selected products from other manufacturers are available. www.antbrew.fi
