THE CENTREPIECE OF THE HARBOUR is the Sibelius Hall, a glass-fronted congress and concert centre. It is surrounded by restaurants, including Kahvila Kariranta and restaurants Lokki, Nosturi, Lastu and Kokka, which serve you all year round. The ship restaurants are closed in the height of winter, but will open again as spring comes. Pro Puu, located in a former match factory, features varied wood-related monthly exhibitions and a shop. Located in the same building as Kahvila Kariranta, craft shop Ulpukka offers unique high-quality handicraft products from several Finnish manufacturers. ■
