Your Questions About Natural Pain Control

Lizzie asks‌

I have Endometriosis. I need help to treat it. Any natural ways? I have had Endometriosis since I was 15. I have been taking the pill since then too. My condition is getting worse and I need help to control it. I have no insurance and make less then $14,000 a year. Natural remedies cost less, but I dont know if any work. I have all the major symptoms and am almost always in pain. I am only 21, but the pain is causing me to not live like a normal 21yr old. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have had 3 Dr.s tell me I have it. I can not have children because of other issues. Infertility is not an issue. Cost is.

answers: Lots of women take extra vitamins and supplements to try to help. I havnt done this myself except for extra vit c and e. Some women modify their diet hoping that will help. Unfortunately, most women on the message board I frequent do not get much, if any pain relief but it could be worth trying. I would go to askapatient.com or remedyfind.com and see what has helped for some. There are a good number of women that swear by natural progesteron cream-its roughly 30 bucks, I havnt tried it myself and dont know if you can take it while your on bc but it might be something to try. With your level of income you may qualify for state health insurance b/c in reality, a lap is what you need so if you could get state medical insurnce than I would try that route. If you go-choose your dr. Carefully. You want a dr. That is knowledgable in endo and one who will excise it-NOT burn it off. I wish you luck.

Charles asks…

Kind of a strange question on natural births? Recently I was in the ER for a severely painful issue. My heart rate shot up to 125 BPM and I was given immediate demoral to control the pain and bring my heart rate down to normal. Does this mean that I will HAVE to have an epidural or Demoral agian? Again meaning during her birth. She’s my first.

answers: Not necessarily, something happens when your in labor….your gonna handle that pain alot better than you probably think. My bp was higher when we witnessed a car wreck one night and I was 5 months pregnant and flipped out (someone died in it), anyway my bp was much higher that night than when I was in labor. (EMT’s checked me out just to make sure I was okay because of being pregnant and crying, kind of in shock I guess…) Anyway long story short, after that I thought wow whats my bp gonna be when I’m in serious pain, but actually it stayed normal. So you definately still have that chance….like I said…something happens to us….and thank God it does because if not we would all have bp’s of like 250 over 200 lol Goodluck and congrats~!!!!!!!!!! Sorry so long
