C RU IS E SU M M A RY DAY 6 – LAMEGO This morning we take the short drive to the historic town of Lamego where you can visit the Sanctuary of our Lady of Remedies church. We then enjoy a tasting of some delicious local specialities followed by free time in Lamego. Tonight you’ll be served the Captain’s Dinner and enjoy a traditional folklore show.
DAY 1 – EMBARK IN PORTO Embark your five-star ship in Porto. DAY 2 – PORTO We enjoy a guided tour of the city before returning to the ship for lunch and an afternoon’s scenic cruising. DAY 3 – CASTELO RODRIGO Relax on board while the stunning views of this spectacular region drift by. This afternoon visit Castelo Rodrigo, a 12th century walled hilltop village with its stupendous panoramic views. DAY 4 – SALAMANCA Today we drive to Salamanca for a guided tour. Over lunch, we experience a traditional flamenco show after which there’ll be some free time to explore this beautiful and historic city as you wish. DAY 5 – MATEUS PALACE GARDENS Relax on board today as we cruise to Peso da Régua. Later this afternoon we visit the famous Mateus Palace gardens. This evening we enjoy dinner at a traditional quinta, with the opportunity to sample some of their produce.
