January 28 - 31, 2020, Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, opened its new 5-Trident (5-star) resort in Miches, a secluded paradise located on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda will be the very fi rst operating resort in the undiscovered northeast region of the island and the brand’s fi rst Exclusive Collection resort in the Americas, as well as its fi rst resort opening in the North American region in over 25 years.

335 guestrooms split across four villages. They include the 111-room Caribbean Paradise, which will be open to any traveler type, and the 158-room Explorer Cove, which is designed for multigenerational families. The property’s two adult-only villages the 48-room, wellness-themed Emerald Jungle and the 18-suite Archipelago off er a quieter, more intimate atmosphere.
