Un evento ormai diventato un punto di riferimento per i giovani designers, circostanza che nel corso degli anni ha offerto l’opportunità agli under 35 di farsi notare nel mondo del design. Il SaloneSatellite annovera diversi nomi ormai noti, per i quali esso ha rappresentato il trampolino di lancio per farsi conoscere e proseguire in una brillante carriera . Per la 24°edizione oltre 550 interpreti parteciperanno al Salone Satellite. La collocazione sarà all’interno dei padiglioni di Euroluce. Il tema di quest’anno sarà: “Design Schools – Universities / BUILDING THE (IM)POSSIBLE. Process, Progress, Practice”. Si tratta di una occasione per evidenziare l’importanza delle scuole e le università di design, sottolineando il contributo che danno alla formazione di nuovi designer. La disposizione degli spazi espositivi rinnovata posizionerà le 27 scuole e università in un anello perimetrale intorno ai singoli designer. Gli spazi del SaloneSatellite Award, alla sua 12a edizione, saranno contraddistinti dalla presenza di sole e luna, elementi che segneranno l’estetica di tutta la manifestazione. Due piazze saranno adibite ad accogliere grandi telescopi, che permetteranno di ammirare un cielo che riflette il presente e il futuro del design. Una mostra speciale: “Sate-light. 1998-2022 SaloneSatellite young designers”, presenterà gran parte delle lampade progettate dai giovani che negli anni hanno preso parte alle varie edizioni del SaloneSatellite, entrate in produzione grazie alla collaborazione con le tante aziende che hanno puntato sui giovani talenti. Grande e atteso ospite del SaloneSatellite sarà Gaetano Pesce, invitato per raccontare la sua lunga carriera e per trasmettere ispirazione, energia e passione ai giovani designer.

For the 24th edition, more than 550 performers will participate in the SaloneSatellite. The location will be within the pavilions of Euroluce. This year's theme will be "Design Schools. - Universities / BUILDING THE (IM)POSSIBLE. Process, Progress, Practice." This is an opportunity to highlight the importance of design schools and universities, emphasizing the contribution they make to the training of new designers. The renovated exhibition space arrangement will position the 27 schools and universities in a perimeter ring around individual designers. The spaces of the SaloneSatellite Award, in its 12th edition, will be marked by the presence of the sun and moon, elements that will mark the aesthetics of the entire event. Two squares will be used to house large telescopes, which will allow visitors to admire a sky that reflects the present and future of design. A special exhibition, "Sate-light. 19982022 SaloneSatellite young designers," will present most of the lamps designed by young people who have taken part in the various editions of the SaloneSatellite over the years, which have gone into production thanks to the collaboration with the many companies that have focused on young talent. A great and expected guest of the SaloneSatellite will be Gaetano Pesce, invited to tell about his outstanding achievements and to transmit inspiration, energy and passion to young designers.
