Giorgio Roda in the European Le Mans Series with the LMP2 of Proton Competition

After 9 seasons in Gran Turismo cars, in which he won 3 titles in GT Open, European Le Mans Series and Italian Gran Turismo Championship, Giorgio Roda is ready to start a new exciting experience in the cabin of Proton Competition's Oreca LMP2 in European Le Mans Series. The driver from Como will flank official Porsche driver Gimmi Bruni, who is engaged in the World Endurance WEC with the Stuttgart manufacturer's new creature, and young Jonas Ried, who has been a protagonist in the Formula 4 leagues in recent seasons. The 29-year-old from Como's season objective is to learn as much as possible in a championship that will see him compete with former F1 drivers Paul Di Resta, Nelson Piquet Jr and Juan Pablo Montoya. The European series will begin in Barcelona on April 23 before tackling tracks in Imola, Le Castellet, Aragon, Spa-Francorchamps and Portimao.
