She has essayed the roles of Bahaar and Umrao Jaan in musical plays like MughalE-Azam and Umrao Jaan respectively. She remains an integral part of these epic musical dramas to date. Her theatre experience is vast and she effortlessly essays the roles on stage before an appreciative audience. Besides, she is the voice behind Chedkhaniyaan, one of the most loved song from the widely admired web series Bandish Bandits. Pratibha also seems to have mastered the sinuous calligraphy of emotion and as her voice peaks and cascades with the music, she seems to hit just the right emotional chords. For her, acting seems to be an extension of her singing. Each time she records a song in a studio, she slips into the character to convey the exact mood. Gulzar, Oscar winning legendary poet, has penned the lyrics and the poetry effuses emotion in every phrase. His deep baritone sets the mood for the song and the masterful wordsmith weaves an incredible web of emotions through his poetry. In the present title song, he beautifully captures the range of emotions conveyed through the eyes and personifies them as messengers of our deepest sensibilities. His words evoke distinct imagery and moods, and bind us to the song, lull us into its embrace.

Maestro of rhythm, Ustad Zakir Hussain weaves umpteen varieties of rhythmic patterns that enhance the composition and magnify the spell it casts over us. The master percussionist and Grammy awardee has added dynamism to the composition with his magical fingers and rhythmic arrangement and makes the melody a true delight! Speaking of the album, Zakir ji expressed his happiness at being part of this musical journey and was all praise for Deepak Pandit and his incredible music.
