Dear Friends, Thank you for joining us as we celebrate 65 years of bringing Magnificat’s mission to life. In 1955, when the Sisters of the Humility of Mary welcomed the first class of young women to Magnificat—63 in total—I wonder if they imagined the legacy that was being set into motion. Sixty-five school years later, over 12,400 alumnae and over 700 current students continue to experience the impact of the HM Sisters’ visionary spirit. What a tremendous gift they have given us, a gift that we hope will continue for 65 more years and beyond. This evening, we celebrate the HM Sisters, and how their vision of educating young women has grown and blossomed through each and every one of Magnificat’s students, families, faculty, staff, and friends over the years. In particular, we celebrate how our mission strengthened and carried us as we met the many challenges that came with this past year. Because of each of you—our supporters who embody the spirit of Mary’s Magnificat in countless ordinary and extraordinary ways—our students and faculty had the resources and encouragement that this unprecedented year required. Thank you for all you have done for the Magnificat Community, especially over the last twelve months. I want to express my sincere gratitude to our dedicated Gala Committee who has volunteered their time and talent to transform this year’s Gala into the “late night” show that you will enjoy this evening. Thank you for your hard work and creativity! Your support this evening makes it possible to provide the unique education that prepares Magnificat’s young women for faith-filled leadership in our world. Over 60 percent of students are able to attend Magnificat because of critical financial aid that is raised during the gala each year. Thank you for helping us make sure that a Magnificat education is possible for every student, regardless of financial means. We are deeply grateful. In the Spirit of Mary’s Magnificat,

Moira Clark ’77 President

People are at the heart of what we do. At Huntington, we know the business of banking is about moving money responsibly. But we also know that behind the numbers there are always people. Human lives. Our families, friends and neighbors. It’s an honor to be part of the lives that help our communities prosper. And for that privilege, we thank you.
