Audi e-tron GT
at Poole Audi
This month I had the pleasure in test driving Poole Audi’s ultimate electric sportscar. With quattro all-wheel drive, a power output of 530PS and a thumping 640Nm of torque on overboost, the e-tron GT hits 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds.
The 646PS RS e-tron GT does it in 3.3 seconds with pin-back-into-yourseat hilarity. This is a car that puts a smile on your face, and it does it with no emissions and a 100% electric, nextgeneration powertrain. The RS e-tron
GT can travel up to 283 miles on a single charge while the e-tron GT quattro can go even further at up to 298 miles. Technology highlights include a virtual cockpit and MMI touchscreen display, a 360° camera, remote parking pilot, Matrix LED headlights and a suite of driving aids including Night Vision Assistant and a head-up display.
The e-tron GT is a sensual, sculpted masterpiece. You’ll find sophistication in every detail, from the 20” alloy wheels and LED headlights to the sports seats and luxury cabin. Top-spec Vorsprung models even have adjustable Air Suspension.
With 530PS and 640Nm of torque, the e-tron GT is a rocket ship. It handles brilliantly with adaptive suspension and a low centre of gravity.
It has five doors and two boots (the front boot has an 81-litre load volume while the rear boot has 405-litres) the e-tron GT is an exceptionally capable daily driver.
With support for 270kW charging at 800V charging stations, the e-tron GT charges from 5-80% in 22.5 minutes. A 100kW DC charger will give you an 80% charge in 40 minutes and an 11kW AC charger will give you a 100% charge in 9 hours.
GT and Vorsprung trim levels are available for the e-tron GT while the e-tron RS is available in RS, RS Carbon Black and RS Carbon Vorsprung trim levels.
