Tech company celebrates 8 years of success
Wimborne-based Talk Think Do celebrates its 8-year anniversary this month, marking another successful milestone for the fastgrowing Dorset tech company, specialising in bespoke cloud solutions.
The team has more than doubled in size in 2022, now with a 26-strong team of specialist engineers and plans to increase hires in 2023. The business continues to deliver quality work through its onshore team-based Dorset, with regular opportunities arising through new vacancies.

Talk Think Do has seen immense year-onyear revenue growth of over 750 percent, from £267,000 in 2018 to £2.3million in 2022. As it looks to the future, the company has set out a mission to create greater employment opportunities for tech & IT professionals, by combining class-leading innovation with an exceptional working culture.

Laceys Licensing team scoops ‘Best Support to the Event Industry’ at National Awards
The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) held their annual convention and awards Wednesday 23th November at The Pump Rooms and Roman Baths in Bath.
It was the convention’s first return to a live format since pre-pandemic, with industry experts delivering insight and education into the new standards and values that events are looking to follow in 2023 and beyond. As part of this, Philip Day, one of Laceys licensing experts, featured in a live session during the day alongside other industry experts, recreating a modern-day SAG (Safety Advisory Group).
Into the evening, Laceys were honoured to win the award for ‘Best Support to the Event Industry’ at the awards, the judges’ summed up their decision to give Laceys the award with the following words;
“The judges felt Laceys Solicitors have been vital to so many companies during the pandemic. As a business they provided counsel and advice to customers, the industry and government. Often at their own expense. Over the years, Laceys have been a great supporter to the industry. Congratulations.”
Brendan Herbert, who is both a Licensing Specialist at Laceys and Event Organiser, was also mentioned for being shortlisted in 3 separate categories at the awards but sadly missed out on a win.
