Welcome to 2016 Ferndown Fete on the Field As President of Ferndown Rotary Club, I am delighted that once again the Club will be organising the annual Fete on the Field - one of the highlights of the Ferndown community calendar. This year we have Bus Stop and JTYAF as our sponsored charities. This fantastic and fun-filled day for all the family will be held on Saturday 18th June at King George V Fields from 11am until 5pm.
The varied attractions will include: • • • • • • • • • • •
Classic car show Musical entertainment from solo artists and groups Model aeroplane flying displays Novelty dog show Ten and Five kilometre runs will start and finish on the field Donkey rides Magician Local charity and craft stalls Raptor flying displays Fairground rides and stalls Wide choice of refreshments or bring a picnic!

5K & 10K
18th June 2016 Following the success of last year’s 10K inaugural run, this year there will be a 10K, 5K and a shorter run, probably around 1–2K. All start on King George V Playing Fields BH22 9EN on Saturday 18th June 2016 at 11.30am. The multi terrain 10K and 5K runs will be registered and classified with England Athletics and will take place on Ferndown roads and in Ferndown Common.
MAKE A DAY OF IT! The Ferndown Fete on the Fields presented by Ferndown Rotary Club takes place at the same location on King George V Playing Fields. Gates open 11am – 5pm. All welcome.

Ferndown classic car show We are pleased that Ferndown is holding another Classic Car Show this summer as part of the Rotary Club of Ferndown’s Fete on the Fields 2016 fun day out. This is open to all Classic Cars, Motorbikes and Light Commercials. Most vehicles will be over 20 years old or be of special interest if younger. Please bring your classic and help make the show bigger and better than ever! If you don’t have one then do come and enjoy the spectacle. Register in advance to show your car for free. An optional commemorative plaque will be available at £2 each. Or turn up on the day for £2 inc. plaque. Email me for Club Stand information. Booking forms available from:
