After meeting on Bumble, Cynthia and Ankur shared many hours talking that finally led to a hike, overlooking the Manhattan Skyline in the Palisades and a ring.
Clearly, a planner, Cynthia had her wedding venue, dress and key vendors chosen even before the proposal. Originally planned for October 31, 2020, this type A bride was done with most of the planning by January 2020.
The couple envisioned a multi day affair with two ceremonies - A Catholic ceremony and a Hindu ceremony. Derailed by Covid questions about deposits and distancing guidelines swirled about, however, thanks to the vendors the wedding was as the Bride put it, “absolutely fantastic.”
To accommodate weather, the wedding was moved to September and personal details filled the wedding. Handmade signs, programs, games, cakes and cupcakes were some of the details that the family was able to DIY. The wedding came to life because of the people involved. And they had the dogs! The Groom even made them their very own pup-cakes.
The day was chaotic and perfect, just as it should be….Congratulations to Cynthia & Ankur!
