Organizational Committees
The newly elected MAHARLIKA Organization officers for the academic year 2022-2023 agreed to form a total of eight (8) committees that will manage a certain responsibility. Each committee is headed by a suitable officer as a committee head and appointed members having their own expertise to serve on their designated committees. These committees will serve as work units of the organization to efficiently carry out all its work and make it manageable through discharging its responsibilities. These organizational committees are as follows:
Student Services and Concerns Committee

Role Description
a) In-charge of all student concerns and queries may it be academic or organization-related matters. b) Ensure that all student concerns are being addressed as soon as possible and student services are accessible and being provided for the welfare of all Social Studies students. c) Demonstrate strong student service orientation, be responsive to all student concerns/inquiries, and deliver services in a professional way. d) Monitor and document all service implementations. e) Make changes as necessary and identify opportunities for new student services. f) Coordinate and cooperate to other committees as it may deem necessary. g) Perform other duties as it may deem necessary.

Community Par tnerships and External Linkages
Role Description Committee Head and Members
a) In-charge of gathering information both inside and outside of the university premises for possible participation, partnerships, and/or collaborations. b) Responsible for building linkages, and communicating with other universities, colleges, organizations, and other personalities. c) Invite guest speakers or presenters for workshops, training, lectures, and other collaborative activities. d) Once the goals and objectives are aligned with the organization’s target goals, the committee will be responsible in maintaining contact with the local, regional, national, and international levels officials e) Actively seek new partners to add value to the organization as well as maintain existing partnerships, and assist them in reaching their full potential. f) Coordinate and cooperate to other committees as it may deem necessary. g) Perform other duties as it may deem necessary.

Environment and Sustainable Development Goals Committee
Role Description Committee Head and Members
a) Assess the organization’s commitment to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and make sure that in every activity, at least one (1) SDG is being anchored/targeted. b) Responsible for the organization’s environmental campaigns as well as to other environment-related activities that we can participate in both inside and outside the university. c) Coordinate and cooperate to other committees as it may deem necessary. d) Perform other duties as it may deem necessary.

Role Description Committee Head and Members
a) Responsible for all contents such as captions, official statements, data collection, and any other information or word-related stuff of the organization. b) Ensure the quality of the organization’s publications both in terms of content, format, and/or structure. c) Create, proofread, and manage all of the organization’s publications such as reports, summaries, statements, etc. d) Responsible for the compilation of all activities/accomplishments with proper documentation, details, and narratives to make both soft and hard copies at the end of the term. e) Coordinate and cooperate to other committees as it may deem necessary. f) Perform other duties as it may deem necessary.

Secure the organization’s fund and budget such as the honorarium of speakers, prizes, and other expenses. b) Oversee the organization’s collection efforts such as for possible student contributions, fundraising, and donations. c) Keep track of all receipts and records of the financial matters of the organization for transparency and accountability purposes. d) Coordinate and cooperate to other committees as it may deem necessary. e) Perform other duties as it may deem necessary.

Creative Industry and Performing Arts
Role Description Committee Head and Members
a) Highlight the well-being and advancement of the creative industry, culture, and the arts. b) In-charge of talent auditions and group formations for various categories such as in singing, dancing, visual arts, media arts, theatre arts, and others.
c) Form each category’s group leader and work with them to obtain permission and a contract outlining the roles and responsibilities of a MAHARLIKA Performing Arts member. d) Encourage the Social Studies students to unleash and develop their passion, talents, and skills which may be used in serving the organization and expressing themselves. e) Responsible for seeking participants to every activity that the organization will conduct or participate in. f) Coordinate and cooperate to other committees as it may deem necessary. g) Perform other duties as it may deem necessary.
