Character of roads around the site generates characteristic site layout , providing interesting junction.

2

Site facing junctions always have an opportunity to interact with each other and create appreciating spaces, allows to maintain a visual connection to adjacent surrounding.

3

Proper use of site periphery can create circulation spaces, buffer spaces. has potential to accommodate parking or other commercial zones which can generate interaction with road and its elements.

24 WIDE ROAD Branched road from 30M wide road connecting Bandra east JUNCTION 1 one of the important junction where two roads of 24M and 30M wide road meets. it has a potential of becoming appreciating spacetowards site. site can contibute an interesting conversation with this junction point

SITE

30 WIDE ROAD Towards BANDRA terminus and local station with western Express Highway MITHI RIVER Meets Arabian sea and has a potential of developing into a tourist spot. Important project of river front development is in the priority development list of MMRDA.

JUNCTION 2 Most busy junction of all. all 30M wide roads meet here with a bus stop adding strong bus connection to the site. MMRDA is planning to extend 30M wide road to north over mithi river to connect Eastern express high way. thus junction expects to serve huge traffic in a head future JUNCTION 3 this juncting connects BKC to eastern express highway in near future. a branched 24M road canact as a good connection to site with respect to main gate. MANGROVES AREA. This area comes under costal zone. acts as a buffer span between BKC and river.

CHARACTER OF 30M WIDE ROAD

4

Site division can accommodate interesting outdoor spaces which can be used for outdoor training, gatherings, occasional outdoor events, etc. it also creates the permeability of vision from one end of the road to the other.

5

Alignment of structure with respect to road can not only generate hierarchy of spaces but also can respect road alignments by maintaining view towards Mithi river.

Open spaces can respect both the adjacent structure with openness providing ample space for greenery and can hold various out door sports or recreational facilities. Arena area enjoys the prominent location bing the landmark for this junction
