IBC CAMPUS - VILNIUS May 2021 - present

Archinova I Lithuania

(Design (Team) - Concept design - Design development ) (2D AutoCad - Revit - Rhino - Lumion - 3Ds Max - Photoshop)

Urban Campus Vilnius was a closed competition held by Archinova for the design of a business campus in a prim location in Vilnius; Our aim was to create an active urban campus that is formed by plazas, alleys, gastronomy and retail on the ground level. A truly public experience that enlivens and enriches the campus. Green terraces on the roofs provide a sustainable and intriguing space for employees to exchange ideas and collaborate. A truly inspiring space for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. By opening up the traditionally enclosed Campus typology, the design created connections to the surrounding Urban area, simultaneously bringing in the city and nature inside the Campus. To further strengthen the identity of the Campus and its visibility, the opening up of the block creates a visible and publicly accessible front address. The design was awarded 1st Prize and is currently undergoing the design development stage.

To provide an exciting and iconic skyline, the building-heights are playfully arranged creating an interplay of volumes and spaces. In order to achieve this interplay, various terraces and entry points have been carved out of the volume, creating visible access points and expressing individual addresses within the Campus.

The historically enclosed Block provides various urban challenges that we found necessary to address. It often disconnects urban connections and does not provide ample access to the general public through its enclosed Typology. The rethought open Block provides much needed urban public connections that serve the general public. At the same time it brings into the site various aspects of the city and its context, as nature, traffic, and numerous other city features.

MAURITIUS HÖFE Aug 2021 - Present

Art-Invest I Germany

(Design (Team) - Floor plan development - Presentation) (2D AutoCad - Rhino - Grasshopper - lumion - Photoshop)

A competition for the site of the former City-Passage in Wiesbaden, now located in the heart of downtown Wiesbaden. It forms the courtyard between Kirchgasse, Schwalbacher Strasse, Kleine Schwalbacher Strasse and Faulbrunnenstrasse. The former City-Passage should not simply be redesigned to act the “downtown” passage as it was. The design needed to create its own identity. A new place with a high mix of different functions is being created here with the Mauritius Höfe. The new Mauritius Höfe was developed with the aim to connect and thereby establish a new address - a central place, functionally diverse and used 24 hours a day, integrated into the urban planning and architecturally independent. The design was awarded 1st Prize and is currently in the design development stage. A draft animation movie: https://www.dropbox.com/s/klf2ae6i6s38j6a/220121MAURITIUS%20H%C3%96FE-1080p.mp4?dl=0

A small green oasis opens up in the middle of the city - a new destination with a high quality of stay. Various functions enliven it during the day and in the evening; in the north the hotel and gastronomy, to the west is a GYM and to the southeast is an office building. Micro-apartments are located on the upper floors of the eastern building. This keeps the place “controlled” and in use 24 hours a day.

The design was quite challenging to develop in accordance with the detail plan, the plot sharing edges with a multitude of existing neighbors. The aim of the design was to integrate the project into the existing urban fabric while providing a unique brand and identity to the new development.

The facade concept plays on the contrast between the outside shell and the inner skin. With the outer shell mimics the Wiesbaden city downtown architecture with a more modern interpretation, through the use of more solid Opaque material, stone paneling. In contrast with the inner facade, that is meant to provide a more playful and warming sensation to the user; emphasizing the identity of the inner quarter. With a green facade approach, the modular green facade design achieves this vision with a more cost effective solution.

PORTA FORLANINI Jan - Feb 2018

Municipality of Milan I Italy

(Design - Modeling - Presentation) (2D AutoCad - Sketchup - 3Ds Max - Photoshop)

Working with the Municipality of Milan, in line with the City planning strategy, the project aimed develope Forlanini Park south of the city. The design concept is simply creating a portal to the park from the dense urban fabric, inspired by the historical Milano city portals, Porta Forlanini is a modern portal re-imagined in a light structure with floating architecture to allow the visual connection to the park. The modular design allows ease of fabrication, mounting and decomposition of the building to be repupsed for different use.

Very well located on viale Forlanin, mid way between the city center and Linate airport. The plot houses the perfect location for a entry point to parco sud, parco forlanini, where it is closest to the city center, having great accessability and ampel opportunity to house the transformation from urban to natural settings. Approaching the site as a gateway, the transitional threshold between the dense hectic urban setting into a more tranquil and natural green space: Parco Forlanini The following strategies express the various architectural interpretation of a portal in terms of massing
