Mahmoud El-Fatatry Candidature for IFMSA-Egypt TSDD (2014-2015)
Motivation Letter With great honor I'm writing to you my motivation letter applying for the post Trainings Support Division Director “TSDD” Let me introduce myself… I am Mahmoud El-Fatatry, 5th year medical student, Al-Azhar University. I’m an IFMSA Member since 2010, in feb2012 I took my TNT and became an IFMSA-Trainer where I found myself belongs to the training division. They said “Training is the backbone of IFMSA” and you can’t imagine the meaning of being responsible for every single member in IFMSA by conducting training sessions or even help someone with an advice.
Training division was founded to help IFMSA to achieve its goal towards a world in which all medical students unite for global health and are equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to take on health leadership roles locally and globally and I am proud of being a part of this division.
Keep Training ♥ ♥ Keep Rocking

Plan of action We put first steps to build a strong training division in IFMSA-Egypt but we still have a lot to do after Diaa, REda, and Abdelgawad have done. The main aim for me is to care about the quality of the trainer and the training session not the quantity. We have in IFMSA-Egypt more than 50 Trainers, but unfortunately they don’t share the same experience… And by working hard to raise our experience, being creative when conducting training sessions and using new technologies … we will achieve our goal of being really the backbone of IFMSA.
My plan of action will stress on Four Categories:

Nationally: •Increase Number and Quality of the training sessions in GAs and Standing committee events. •Organize some training events for new and old members. •Making an online system for registration before the training session especially in GAs to ensure a smooth process in registration and delivering certificates to trainees. •LCs visit and making Survey to LCs to know their needs of training sessions •Supporting other Standing Committees with training sessions they need.
Training Division: •“Trainers Weekend” event will be organized in the beginning of the term to be a good start of a successful communication during the term furthermore it will be a good chance for conducting a highly level training sessions stressed on using new techniques and new technologies. •Back again to the monthly training topics which will help us to share experience and raise the quality of the training session and the trainer. •Updating the Google drive in the beginning of the term to have a good backup of online materials used in training sessions. •A report will be filled by the trainer after every training session conducted to ensure developing the division and to avoid any mistakes.
