In this project, we learned with and from others in a supportive and collaborative environment. Did this by keeping in mind each of the 3Cs: •Curious – be open to others’ differences. •Constructive – build on other pupils’ ideas, activities or experiences. •Compassionate – be kind and respectful towards partners. We tried to be mindful of others. We shared our personal opinions and experiences. We followed the rules the Netiquette Guidelines and tried to be respectful of other partners and their individual points of view.

We’re introducing ourselves We have a tendency to define ourselves in opposition to stuff. We tried to define ourselves (through only one word) not by what we hate but by what we are passionate about and truly love.

Understanding prejudice, discrimination, stereotypes

50/50 gender-balanced world Thousands of people around the globe on April 26th will join a global online discussion about how we are going to create to a more gender-balanced world that is better for everyone. - How can we work toward creating a 50/50 gender-balanced world where everyone benefits? Post a sentence, a drawing or an image to explain how you might address that issue at school or in your home community and comment what posted your partners.

Put yourself in someone else’s shoes Imagine what it would be like to live in a place different from where you live now. People migrate for many different reasons. Some people choose to migrate: immigrants are people who move permanently to another country to enhance their career opportunities. Some people are forced to migrate: due to war or famine. A refugee is someone who has left their home to seek safety and protection and does not have a new home to go to. Often refugees do not carry many possessions with them. It’s important to put ourselves in the shoes of others! It can help us appreciate how others feel, have empathy for them, and clear up misunderstandings. But...what is empathy? The ability to understand and share the feelings of another person, like “walking in someone else’s shoes”.
