NaviGate 2018 will once again bring the most important players in the maritime cluster to Turku on May 16–17, 2018.

NaviGate is a big draw for maritime cluster professionals. Most visitors work in maritime logistics, maritime industry and the subcontracting industry.

Among the other featured events are Finnpro’s Buyer Event, Investor Event, Shipyard Subcontractor Day, Transport Day by the Chamber of Commerce and a meeting of the Arctic Economic Council. The NaviGate Matchmaking Event will offer industry operators an excellent opportunity to find commercial or development partners.

The Finnish maritime industry is founded on world-class expertise and innovations. Once again, the NaviGate expo will offer up an interdisciplinary look into the sector in Turku, Finland. NaviGate, organized every two years, will feature topics from maritime industry to maritime logistics and shipping. In 2016, the expo was attended by close to 200 exhibitors and 1.500 visitors. Participants from 8 countries took part in the matchmaking event.

The Finnish maritime cluster consists of some 3.000 companies, 50.000 employees and EUR 12.7 billion in net sales. The maritime cluster operates in several market areas, mainly in six market segments: cargo traffic, cruise traffic, car ferry and ro-ro traffic, offshore production of oil and gas, offshore production of renewable energy and public demand. In the future, special focal areas are for example arctic know-how, battery technology, hybrid energy solutions and digitalization.
