LINCOLNVILLE & CAMDEN-ROCKLAND area MAPS Going South from Point Lookout: Lincolnville Lincolnville is a small coastal community with a beautiful sand beach on Penobscot Bay, just south of Point Lookout. You can find a ferry to the Island of Islesboro, shopping, and great eats. Lincolnville Farmer’s Market is every Saturday 9:00am – Noon.

Camden and Rockland Camden and Rockland, both great small bustling towns on Penobscot Bay; Camden is about 5 miles south and Rockland is about 13 miles south of Point Lookout. Both have walking downtowns with lots of shopping and eating. Also, there are Windjammer Cruises to get you out on the water; check this directory for a few cruise options in different locations. Camden Farmer’s Market: Saturdays 9am – Noon and Wednesdays 3:30pm – 6:00pm. Rockland Farmer’s Market: Thursdays 9:00am – 12:30pm.


Boothbay Harbor & Belfast area maps Boothbay Harbor The quaint town of Boothbay Harbor is about 51 miles south of Point Lookout and well worth a drive. Boothbay Harbor has many local shops and boutiques with lots of great eats. A local brewery in Boothbay is right on the way to the Harbor. Boothbay Harbor Farmer’s Market is on Thursdays 9:00am – Noon.

Going North from Point Lookout: Belfast Belfast is a wonderful, small town at the mouth of the Passagassawakeag River flowing into Penobscot Bay, about 10 miles north of Point Lookout. Belfast is known for its great downtown shopping, historic walking tour, hiking along the shore on the new walking path bordering the Bay, and great places to eat. Belfast also has a fabulous Farmer’s Market every Friday 9:00am – 1:00pm and many festivals throughout the summer.


ACADIA AREA MAP Acadia Acadia is about 75 miles north of Point Lookout, and is one of the top 10 most visited National Parks in the US, with endless reasons why. To name just a few; they have Cadillac Mountain, where the view is 360 degrees. The Park Loop Road is 27 miles of shoreline, coastal forests and mountain silhouettes. Acadia has 45 miles of carriage trails; trails with no motor vehicles; for hiking and biking that couldn’t be more fun. On the island are many small ocean towns. Bar Harbor Farmer’s Market is on Sundays 9:00am – Noon.
