Summer gives students an opportunity to  nd out more about themselves through summer camps and/or work opportunities. Also, students need to have something to look forward to that isn’t likely to stress them out, and for most kids, summer o ers that. If I lived in a state like Arizona or somewhere that the summers were too hot, I would feel di erently, but then I would probably want a “summer vacation” in a cooler season. - Susannah Owen, Bangor EA
