Welcome
Welcome to Maitland Taste 2016 at The Levee, Central Maitland. This year marks Maitland’s 8th annual celebration of great food, wine and produce from around the region. We invite you to wander throughout the event and discover the range of food, stalls and activities on offer. See local and regional experts in the field of cooking, edible gardening and more at the Taste Kitchen Stage and Taste Garden Stage, or visit the BBQ Backyard for tips on meat smoking and great barbequing. Kids will enjoy free craft activities at Boxford Farm, seedling planting with Feedback Organic and a cooking class with Slow Food Hunter Valley. Kids young and old can enjoy live original music by 18 local songwriters at one of the three pop up performance spaces and dining areas throughout the event. Sample wine from one of the ten local wineries in attendance and choose from a vast array of deliciously fresh street food from one of the many food trucks and stalls. Peruse the produce stalls and their range of quality fresh produce, condiments and more to give your home cooking a little something extra. Please note that alcohol service at Maitland Taste will cease at 4.30pm Saturday and 3.30pm Sunday.
