Idea Walls
Walls create and complete spaces inside and out. Different spaces are created which achieve connectivity of space or even separation. Creating diverse spaces with various sizes and ways of communicating is the main idea. By starting with the walls, the idea starts to form. The volumes are then integrated to the walls which creates spaces and pockets of different levels of interaction that connect and interact with each other.
3 different spaces can be created with walls: Walls that create outer space (pathways), open inner spaces and enclosed volumes within. Walls and volumes arranged in a certain manner create spaces of different privacy levels with smooth transitions and interesting spaces. A combination of continuous walls, volumes and space are the elements of the idea.
Process Walls
Transfer of the idea started with looking at the meaning of walls and the space that they create. It progressed as we moved to an urban scale where walls were interpreted; creating volumes horizontally and shading vertically where spaces were clearly connected. In addition to that, the concept of mazes was introduced. Mazes transfer the idea of experiencing different spaces. It is achieved by slicing the maze which separates the spaces into volumes. The volumes are one of the main elements of the de-
sign combined with the walls. The walls and volumes create spaces inside and outside that interconnect. These spaces are created for people of different ages and backgrounds. Similarly to tradition, the walls in this design protect and create communities and families that live on one land by which they learn, share, react and interact with each other.

Public access to public area Public and Private spaces The public space/area within the wave weaves the residents of the Wave and the non-residents as the public waterfront aims to give back the public space to the people of Seed and neighboring areas as the Wave used to have a park and public functions that brought the people together. Therefore, the Wave opens up to its surrounding yet maintaining privacy for the residence.
