The purpose of the Gorenjska Banka design competition was to bring together young designers in with their (our) help design a home for birds which do not migrate. But the birds do not nest in winter, so I decided to design a bird feeder. I've mostly used natural materials like wood. For the round shape I got an inspiration from the cutted tree trunk. The transparent sides allow you to observe the birds during their feeding, but the purpose of that is also to protect the birds and the food from weather conditions.

Bike base is a point, where we stop, when we are going home or to work. It consist three modular units, each with its own program. First unit is socalled REPAIR unit, where you can repair your bike, inflate and replace the tires or charge your electric bike battery. Second is a TAKE AWAY unit, where you can take a short stop for a drink or to take away coffee. For this purpose is the cafe counter also opened to the outside, so that you can order your coffee while still sitting on a bicycle. Third is the STOP unit, which is designed for longer stops, socializing, free Wi-fi access, charging your phone or computer battery or just for sitting and enjoying the view to the park.

The TAKE AWAY and REPAIR units are intended for immediate and fast use, so they are placed directly on a wide sidewalk, next to the cycle lane. The STOP unit is designed for relaxation and having fun and this is why, I distanced it away of the traffic and opened it towards the nature. The units are connected with indoor stairs, which are surrounded with transparent wall and visually connected with the exterior.

14 x 14 HOUSE 14x14 house is an introverted residential house for densely built-up areas in town suburbs. The task was to ask ourselves what is the perfect home and then create one for a single person or for a couple on 14m x 14m area, surrounded with a high wall and there should be only one storey. My ideal home should be bright, spacious and should give the feeling of openness to the outside world. The connection of the interior and exterior space is achieved through three atriums:

Studio 3 project Task: Residential area Rošpoh Location: Rošpoh, Maribor, Slovenia Client: Municipality of Maribor Year: 2011/2012
I divided the area into three parts. The houses with the shortest upper lamella are situated on the steeper terrain, houses with the middle length of the upper lamella are situated near the existing buildings, all the other houses have the longest upper lamella.
The size and the content of the ground floor depends on wishes of the user and in accordance with the access to the house. This has resulted four different ground floor plans.

ROSPOH HOUSES Model The location in Rospoh is in a peaceful environment outside the city, so I wanted to preserve nature as much as possible. The basic design of all buildings is a form of two lamellas, where the ground part is parallel to the terrain and the upper one is perpendicular to it. The position of the houses depends on the slope of the terrain, but because the terrain does not rise evenly, the houses are not completely the same.

Sports Park is the place of all sports facilities and areas, grouped and connected together in one area. It is located along the highway, which causes a lot of noise and air pollution. To solve this problem, all the facilities are situated along the highway, which reduce the transmission of the noise to the central part of the park.

PARK ARRANGEMENT Model
The design concept of the park is subordinated to the connection with the river. Along the river, there is space for socializing and leisure, which connects local people, while also attracting more visitors. If I want to visually connect park with the river, it is necessary to remove the greater part of the existing stone wall and descend the terrain in terraces to the water. Stone of demolished wall is used to regulate low parapets, which would serve as a support of the terrain, but also as a park benches. Terrace of the cafĂŠ gets new paving, a fountain and a pergola, which would provide a shade and coolness during the summer.

We could not buy a new kitchen, because of a low budget, so we were thinking about two options: to make one or to reuse an old one. The concept of interior design is a “patchwork of old and new, so we decided to reuse an old kitchen and redesign it with new colours and some new elements, so it will fit to the concept.
19
studio5 HOUSE FOR SLOVENE PHILANTHROPHY The Municipality of Ljubljana has given to the Slovene Philanthropy in the use an old residential building and our task was to prepare plans for the renovation and interior design, so that it will fit to the new function. We were all designing conceptual plans for renovation, then we split into groups and each one was responsible for a given area. Our group has been in charge for interior design, where we tried to reuse already existing furniture, recycle and reuse waste materials and with low budget create new and pleasant working environment.
Model
I was designing the dining area and the kitchen. Due to a small space, which is also intended for the access to the offices, it is important, that the kitchen is in a simple form and that it maintains the space as open as possible. The result was a simple line that starts under the window, continuing to a working space, under the opening (which visually connects the kitchen and stairs), and then ends with a high element, which separates the kitchen from the dining area.

CHAPEL IN THE WOODS
Idea of the chapel illumination is coming out of the lighting in the woods. I wanted to create a feeling that you get, when you are walking in the woods, towards the light and the trees are creating a dynamic play of light and shadow.
Main focus is on natural lighting which is coming to the room through openings between wooden lamellae on the south and through the skylights, behind the wooden blinds, on the left and the right side of the chapel.
South
North
The chapel is oriented south, so that every season of the year creates different shadows inside. In the summer there will be less light and much colder feeling and the opposite in the winter. Because of the lower sun, there will be more natural light inside.
