Where are you from? Where are you from?
I grew up in Deer Park. I’m from Cincinnati!
How long have have you been at Maketewah? How long have have you been at Maketewah?
Seven months. I’ve been here about six months.
What’s your favorite part about working at Mak?
I get to serve the same faces and make their day. I like building those connections. What’s your favorite part about working at Mak?
I love the members. They’re like a family to me that I get to see every day.
Where’s your favorite place to work at Mak? Where’s your favorite place to work at Mak?
Anywhere I can bartend. Bartending lets me be creative and make something with my hands that people enjoy. I would say events or the 19th Hole. Events are fun because you get to meet new people, but the 19th Hole is great for just hanging out and making sure the golfers are happy.
Welcome to Patrick Moore, our new Food and Beverage Director! Patrick has been in Cincy for close to 20 years with his wife and three children. He has multiple years in the restaurant industry prior to graduating from the University of Toledo. Upon graduating, he left the industry to pursue a career in sales, marketing, and product development in the corporate sector. After multiple years in that role, he was offered an opportunity to return to the hospitality management as a club manager.
Enjoying his return to the hospitality industry and club settings, he used his knowledge and experience to take on additional roles as Food & Beverage manager at a local golf club and as proprietary Food & Beverage Director at a large indoor equestrian center. He is looking forward to bringing his vast experience to the Maketewah team to continue to help create a club experience that exceeds expectations for years to come.
