Winner of international piano competitions in Rome, Hastings, Bern, Cleveland and Weimar, Yuanfan has performed extensively throughout the world, playing concertos with renowned orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, China National Orchestra of Theatre and Dance, the Minnesota Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. He is also a prizewinning composer, and his compositions have been broadcasted by the BBC. His own two piano concertos have been performed in China, Britain, France and Italy.
