HELLO!
The days are getting colder here in the Northern hemisphere, the leaves start turning and the air has a chill to it most mornings and evenings. We love taking walks in the crisp fall air, but we also relish the occasional burst of warmth that’s brought to us by the last late-summer days. Our friends in the Southern hemisphere start welcoming the first signs of spring after a long winter with days where you only need a layering piece late at night and sunshine that warms their skin. This collection is designed for this exact time of year, the transition periods, where you’re just not quite sure what to wear. You’d rather pack a light sweater or shawl to throw over in case you get cold, and a pair of cosy slippers to snuggle up in for the evenings. We hope that you find a piece (or two or three, or all of them) that will delight you during this change of seasons, both when you knit it as well as when you wear it. Enjoy the slowly shifting light, the longer or shorter days, the feeling of change in the air. With love, Hanna Lisa & Verena

Variance is a sweater knitted sideways with a stripe pattern that is achieved using short rows. The stripe pattern was inspired by a Japanese traditional textile pattern called Tatewaku that represents how the steam rises. The sweater for sure will go well with both a skirt and pants as the length of the sweater is neither too short or too long!

Undulating is a top-down yoke sweater with a relaxed fit. Three bands of geometric motifs are worked into the yoke, making it an ideal first colourwork sweater pattern.

This beautiful modern scarf is easy to wear with its triangular shape and eye-catching fair isle detail. It is inspired by wildflowers as represented by the band of fair isle detail worked with simple garter stitch worked below and above this fair isle. The scarf is worked flat from the bottom corner with gradual increases along the hypotenuse.

A simple, yet versatile, A-line sweater with “mending stitches running along the front. Inspired by the age-old tradition of mending, I wanted to create a sweater that mimics the way we treat the rest of our wardrobe: always adding stitches, repurposing, taking care of our favorite garments, and making them truly unique and our own with each wear, tear, and mend.

I was playing around with alternative ways of sock construction, and wondered what would happen if I approached the shape of human feet as triangular prisms. The socks are knit toe-up, but follow a different increase rate than regular socks, and you end up forming right angle triangles on either side. That’s where the name came from. I’d wear them in a way you can see them, like a conversation piece.

Designed to be a wardrobe essential, Snowland is worked from the top-down using the contiguous set-in sleeve method. This ensures a comfortable, refined fit that will stay on your shoulders. Combined ribbing and garter stitch on the shawl collar and deep ribbed cuffs provide simple yet strikingly handsome style details.
