Prepare Mac’s Diver Scallop Dish on Special Occasions

callops are considered a delicacy throughout the world. From Barcelona to San Francisco, sushi to soup, scallops can add variety to the exquisite menu. They are healthy and natural and


contain omega3 fatty acids and high amount of protein. Unlike other seafood, scallops freeze well. So, you can also buy them frozen instead of fresh wet-packed scallops. There are many seafood recipes scallop which can be prepared depending upon your taste and occasion. You can prepare Mac’s Diver Scallop dish on the special occasions and weekends. Here are the ingredients and preparation method of this dish, take a look:


Ingredients • Cleaned scallops, 8 to 10 ea • Trimmed maitake mushrooms, 6 ea • Boxed mix rice pilaf, 1 box • 1 cup of lemon caper butter sauce • Chopped parsley, 2 tbsp • Salt and FGBP, to taste • Cubed butter, 1 ½ sticks • Small diced lemon, 1 ea • 1 tsp of allspice • Lemon caper sauce • 2 tbsp of heavy cream • Roughly chopped capers, 1 tbsp • Minced shallots, 1 tsp • Crushed garlic clove, 1 ea • 1 ea of thyme sprig


• Cubed butter, 1 tbsp Preparation method Lemon Caper Butter • Take a small pot and add the cream. Heat the pot over medium-low heat. When the cream starts to bubble, lower the heat to low

• Add a cube of butter and whisk it. Continue to add a cube of butter and fully incorporate them.


Keep the mixture warm to let the butter and cream emulsify. Mix in capers and lemon when the mix is thick and creamy. Add salt to taste. Cover it to keep the mixture warm. Now, take warm pan and add a few drops of oil and put the mushrooms in. • When the mushrooms are tender, season with salt and add shallots, garlic, thyme and butter cubes into the pan. Allow butter to melt and cook the shallots. Now, mix the mushrooms. Take away the pan by using slotted spoon and paper towel. Keep it warm. Mushrooms Production/finishing • Cook rice pilaf. Put the scallops on a paper towel and dry them from each side. Put the sauté pan over high heat and add 1 tbsp of oil. Season the scallops with all spice and salt. Now, add scallops into the pan with large side at the down.


• After 30 to 45 seconds, scallops will turn golden in colour. If they stick together, add oil. After they obtain nice colour, flip them and finish cooking. • When they are warm and start stiffening, squeeze them carefully to remove from pan. After the rice is cooked, fluff with fork and season it. • Place a couple of mushrooms in a bowl and top it with rice. Add the rest of the mushrooms over the rice.
