Our plans offer countless hours of graphic design work per week, which can be spent as needed (saved up for big projects or used up in small increments). START YOUR PROJECT Set a project schedule for each week, month or as needed. MX Designs will lay out the time estimates related to those projects and give you a timeline and monthly reports. RECEIVE MONTHLY SHEETS MX Designs provides you with monthly reports that explain each project that needs to be finished, is in process and needs to be completed. We also report the total hours completed and remaining. Each month, you receive a balance sheet that shows time and service amounts deducted from your graphics retainer. Additionally, you will receive a summary at the end of your contract to help you evaluate whether you need to adjust your design plan.

SIX PLANS TO CHOOSE Each plan is designed to give flexibility and affordability. Each plan is laid out as hours per week, but it also has a total hours pool that you use throughout the contract. You can save up your pre-purchased hours for one larger project, use smaller increments for small projects (such as website maintenance) and even add hours to your contract at a discounted rate. Your hours will expire at the end of your contract term, but we work hard to help you make the most out of your contract while it is active. We also offer you the option of extending your contract to use up your hours. If you still have leftover hours, MX Designs will allow you to retain 100% of those hours if you sign up for a 12-month extension contract or retain 50% of those leftover hours if you sign up for a 6-month extension.

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK? Once the contract is agreed upon, you will receive an invoice via email that you can pay online or by mailing a check. Monthly payments are due in full the second week of each month of the contract. Payments not received by the end of that month will be penalized with 5% interest for each week the payment is late. An example of hours and payment. Company ABC is on a 6-month contract for MX Designs Moving Along plan. Their payment is $960 per month ($240 per week x 4 wks), for a total of $5,760 for the total life of the contract. Company ABC will receive a total of 288 hours of design time for the life of the contract. If they use more than 12 hours per week, they can take out hours of their 288hour bank until used up. Even if Company ABC goes over their allotted hours for the week or month, they still pay the same $960 per month. The monthly payment never changes (unless contract needs to be adjusted). This allows Company ABC the flexibility to shift between heavier workloads and lighter months. What are usual timelines for a project? Project timelines will be set and defined in the project schedule at the beginning of the contract. Most projects will have a first draft finished within three (3) business days after all details Are received. One-day rushes on projects are available, depending on schedule and complexity. What happens if I do not use all of my contract hours? Your hours will expire at the end of your contract term, but we work hard to help you make the most out of your contract while it is active. We also offer you the option of extending your contract to use up your hours. If you still have leftover hours, MX designs will allow you to retain 100% of those hours if you sign up for a 12-month extension contract or retain 50% of those leftover hours if you sign up for a 6-month extension. What if I need more hours? If you use up the total hours of your pool, you can either start a new contract or add more hours at a discounted rate. The rate will depend on your current contract. What if i need to cancel my contract? If you want to cancel your contract at any time, mx designs offers you the option to buy out the rest of the contract at 50% of unused hours. When you buy out your contract, your design hours will expire immediately, and design work will cease. Is the artwork my property? Artwork and creativity are the intellectual property of MX Designs. You will receive property of your artwork as soon as payments are made in full. MX Designs has the right to retain rights if payments are not made.

Retainer Agreement  

      

By signing this agreement, (“Client”) has retained Malcolm Xavier Ervin (“Service Provider”) to proceed with graphic design services for the period to, and agrees to the terms and conditions as set forth in this Agreement. During this period, Service Provider agrees to devote up to ( ) hours per month on assignments to be determined by Client. Work will normally be performed at the offices of Service Provider, but occasionally may take place at other locations, as required. Work priority and scheduling will be at the discretion of Client. Work will normally occur between the hours of 9 to 5 on weekdays. Payment for these services will be to Service Provider at the rate of ($ per month) and will be made for the following month no later than the 30th day of each month that this agreement is in force. No invoice will be submitted. Design services in addition to hours per month will be made available by Service Provider at the rate of ($ per hour)and will be billed separately. Consulting services will be billed separately at the rate of ($ per hour). Any expenses exclusive of normal overhead are not included in this agreement and will be billed separately. Examples of such expenses are delivery services, long-distance telephone calls, travel beyond 50 miles from Service Provider facilities, and meals when traveling. All invoices will be net 30. All materials furnished by Client will remain the property of Client and will be returned upon request or no more than 10 days from the termination of this agreement. The results of any and all work performed by Service Provider for Client, including original creative work (with the exception of ______), will remain the property of the Client. The client may use this material in any way deemed appropriate. This agreement may be terminated on 30 days written notice by either Service Provider or Client). In case of termination, Service Provider shall make a reasonable attempt to finish work in progress.
