Maleny Placemaking

…..Have your Say!

A well attended meeting in Maleny last week was the chance for Council to present back to residents what the new streetscape for Maleny might look like. Council are at the stage of developing a refreshed Maple Street concept plan after previous consultation with the community, to identify key themes and priorities of the broader community which informed the design.

Placemaking is about understanding what is special and important about a place today, creating a vision for the future, and involving the community to continue to shape it through design and ongoing use..

If you want to have input into the latest design ideas, there is another survey for residents to make comment of the plans that were presented last week; just go to the link: https://haveyoursay.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/maleny-placemakingand-streetscape-project?fbclid=IwAR3aM2ZEcJmGh3KxcKbeOgQkVN1jqsNpzadvs9OZWXNSTECW3NprRAcqBY https://issuu.com/Maleny-Grapevine-Community-News
