Footwear industry maverick, Malibu Sandals, pioneer of the modern huarache design movement, introduces its first ever mens footwear collaboration with world famous Italian design house - Missoni. Legendary ambassadors of Italian fashion and design, Missoni is known for creating a colorful aesthetic vision with innovative knitwear techniques that have famously influenced contemporary lifestyle fashion for over 60 years.
Unveiled in this collaboration are two distinctly inspired collections of well-crafted hybrid huarache styles that perfectly complete the looks proposed in Missoni’s main S/S2016 collection. Featuring Malibu’s anatomically correct EVA footbed showcasing Missoni’s signature terracotta color, these authentic sandal silhouettes infuse old world craftsmanship with contemporary design techniques.

Each pair of Malibu x Missoni sandals, cultivated from the archives of southern California culture, is individually hand-woven using cruelty free, man-made materials. Paired with a comfortably cushioned and naturally contoured three-piece EVA outsole, these lightweight vegan-huarache designs deliver a stable and balanced ride that is structurally supportive and adaptive on all surface types for all day wearability.
Using water-friendly materials, these Malibu x Missoni sandals can withstand moderate exposure to water without stretching or losing their shape.
The crafted details unveiled in the Canyon collection features a 4 strap pattern using braided synthetic materials with PU leather spacer details which provide medial and lateral stability with a secure fitting back strap.
A go-to staple for day or night, the versatile Zuma slide design features a classic 10-strap braided crisscross upper and boasts three beautifully contrasted color offerings for the season.
