ADMINISTRATION OFFICE In redesigning the Abilene Christian University Administration office, our focus was on enhancing functionality and spatial flow. The President's office was strategically moved to the north-west corner, adjacent to a private restroom, with the Chief of Staff relocated to the north-east for improved collaboration. Simultaneously, student workers were placed in the south-east corner for proximity to the overseeing Assistant's office. The design seamlessly blends classic dark wood with vibrant orange and purple tones, incorporating marble and ironwork for a visually compelling and functionally optimized workspace.

OTHER WORK In this section, you'll find a range of projects—from urban watercolors to photography and interior hand renderings—each marking significant milestones in my interior design journey. These projects have been instrumental in expanding my skill set and enriching my understanding of various artistic mediums. Through the process of creating watercolor urban landscapes, I discovered the art of patient observation, as each stroke and layer contributes to the intricate detailing and depth of the final piece. Likewise, delving into interior hand rendering emphasized the criticality of meticulous attention to detail and proportion, particularly evident in mastering the intricacies of one-point perspective drawing. The photography collection, captured during my study abroad experience, encapsulates diverse narratives, underscoring the transformative power of art derived from everyday surroundings. Each project has not only honed my technical abilities but also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the artistry inherent in every facet of design.

DESIGN STUDENT
INTERNSHIP During my internship at Parkhill in Abilene, Texas, as a design student, I've been fortunate to work on significant projects such as the Abilene Zoo, a hospital in Ballinger, and two K-12 projects. Since joining in June 2023, I've embraced each day as an opportunity for growth and learning, consistently gaining new insights. Throughout my time at Parkhill, I've engaged in a variety of tasks, including meeting with clients, collaborating on floor plans, conducting field verifications, and contributing to construction documents. This internship has provided invaluable preparation for post-graduation life in the design field, instilling in me the confidence and readiness to tackle future challenges head-on.
SUMMER 2023
K-12 EDUCATION
TEXAS SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF This undertaking involved the revitalization of the Texas School for the Deaf's cafeteria, with my specific focus on designing the graphics for the grab-and-go area. Drawing inspiration from various restaurant murals and ordering boards, the goal was to infuse the space with a dynamic and visually engaging atmosphere.

K-12 EDUCATION
LAKE TRAVIS HIGH SCHOOL AG BARN Contributing to the construction documents for the Lake Travis Ag Barn expansion was a fast-paced learning opportunity. This project, involving the addition of a wash pin and fans, demanded quick and precise work, teaching me to operate efficiently under pressure. The experience exposed me to unfamiliar tasks, emphasizing adaptability and the value of seeking clarification through effective questioning. This dynamic project not only expanded my technical understanding of construction documents but also highlighted the importance of agility and clear communication in a fast-paced design environment.
SUMMER 2023
HEALTHCARE
BALLINGER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL DISTRICT I had the valuable opportunity to contribute to the Ballinger Memorial Hospital District Storage Building. This facility serves as a sleeping and storage space for EMT personnel. In this role, I played a key part in replicating the interior design of a recently remodeled building by matching the materials used. This project marked my initial venture into interior design in the field, allowing me to immerse myself in the intricacies of the discipline and actively engage in the creation of construction documents. The experience was not only educational but also personally gratifying as I navigated the complexities of interior design, contributing to a project with tangible and functional outcomes.
