Se trata de un pequeño monte de 52 metros de altura que alberga una serie de construcciones desde las que se domina toda la comarca de Santa Eulària. Es un remanso de paz con unas vistas fabulosas tanto de la costa como del interior de la isla.

Desde Ibiza, tomar la carretera E-10 y luego la Ei-200 con dirección a Santa Eulària. Nada más cruzar el río, y antes de llegar a la población, a la izquierda se encuentra el Puig de Missa. Tiene parking disponible.
SECRET 1.
Puig de Missa Toma su nombre de la iglesia parroquial que hay en el punto más elevado del monte, que es sin duda el elemento más destacado del conjunto. Es un templo fortificado levantado en el siglo XVI. Con el paso de tiempo se le fueron añadiendo construcciones para reducir el aspecto de fortificación, como por ejemplo dos capillas laterales.
This architectural complex is one of our favourite corners of Ibiza. It’s a small hill, 52 metres high, that hosts a number of pretty buildings overlooking the entire Santa Eulària region. The peaceful haven boasts fantastic views of the coastline as well as the interior parts of the island.

El exterior del templo recuerda al estilo ibicenco, con sus paredes encaladas y sus líneas curvas. Y el interior es bastante sobrio y tiene entre sus joyas más destacadas un altar barroco, una imagen de un cristo atado a la columna que data del siglo XVIII.

Otro punto a destacar es la torre de defensa que se levantó ya en el siglo XVII en el marco del sistema de vigilancia establecido en la isla para poder alertar sobre posibles ataques piratas y el pequeño cementerio que alberga este lugar, que incluye pequeños jardines entre las tumbas y por último sería el Museo Etnográfico de Ibiza que acoge la casa de Can Ros.

Puig de Missa It gets its name from the parish church located at its highest point, undoubtedly the most eye-catching building of the set. Built in the 16th century it started out as a fortified temple and as time went by other buildings were added to make the fortification look less severe, such as two side chapels, for example. The whitewashed walls and curved lines of the exterior is true Ibizan style, whereas the interior is rather sober. Its most precious gems are a Baroque altar and an image of Christ tied to a column that dates back to the 18th century.
Another highlight is the watch tower that was built in the 17th century as part of an island-wide surveillance system created to raise the alarm if pirates attacked, a small graveyard that is located here, complete with small gardens in between the tombstones, and last but not least the Ethnographic Museum of Ibiza, located in the building called Can Ros.

From Ibiza, take the E-10 and then the Ei-200, direction Santa Eulària. Once you cross the bridge, before reaching the village, the Puig de Missa is on your left. Parking available.
Der 52 Meter hohe Berg mit seinem Gebäudeensemble ist einer unserer Lieblingsorte auf Ibiza. Von dieser Oase der Ruhe aus hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Landschaft rund um Santa Eulària und auf das Landesinnere bis hin zur Küste. Der Name des Berges bezieht sich auf die Kirche, die am höchsten Punkt errichtet wurde und zweifellos das beeindruckendste Gebäude der Anlage darstellt. Es handelt sich um eine Wehrkirche aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, der im Lauf der Zeit immer mehr Bauten wie zum Beispiel zwei Seitenkapellen hinzugefügt wurden, wodurch sich der Eindruck einer Festung etwas abmilderte. Mit den gekalkten Außenmauern und ihren runden Formen ist die Kirche ein typisches Beispiel ibizenkischer Baukunst. Der Innenraum wirkt eher schlicht mit Ausnahme des kunstvollen BarockAltars und des an einer Säule angebrachten Christusbildes aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Ein weiteres auffälliges Gebäude ist der Wehrturm, der im 17. Jahrhundert als Teil des inselweiten Warnsystems gegen mögliche Piratenangriffe errichtet wurde. Sehenswert sind auch der kleine

Von Ibiza-Stadt nimmt man zunächst die Landstraße „Carretera E-10“ und fährt danach auf der „Ei-200“ in Richtung Santa Eulària weiter. Gleich nachdem man über den Fluss gefahren ist befindet sich noch vor der Ortschaft linkerhand der Puig de Missa. Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Para visitar el pueblo de Sant Agustí, hemos de encontrar en un desvío situado en la carretera que une los pueblos de Sant Josep de sa Talaia y Sant Antoni de Portmany. El desvío se encuentra muy cerca de otro desvío de la misma carretera, el que nos indica el camino para Cala Tarida, Cala Bassa y Cala Comte.

Sant Agustí d’Es Vedrà es el bello entorno que conforman la iglesia de San Agustín y las casas que la rodean, un conjunto que muestra un excelente estado de conservación. Las construcciones que se encuentran en el núcleo central del pueblo conservan el aire rural de antaño, con numerosas casas de payeses, pozos antiguos, construcciones en piedra en seco (sin cemento) e incluso una torre de refugio, pensada en su momento para defenderse de ataque externos.

Es uno de los pocos núcleos de toda la isla que conservan muy bien su aire rural, con casas payesas y, hasta, una torre de refugio. Más casas, algunas muy antiguas y de gran valor etnográfico, y más torres de refugio, así como pozos antiguos, aljibes y abundancia de construcciones en piedra seca las podemos encontrar repartidas por todo el interior de este pueblo.

It’s located on top of a hill and awards you with a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding areas, but the image that most attracts locals and visitors is without a doubt the church San Agustín and the houses that surround it, buildings in pristine condition. The buildings are located in the centre of the village but keep the countryside feel of yesteryear with farmers’ houses, old wells, dry-stone constructions (no cement used) and even a refuge tower, back then used to protect against outside attacks.
It’s one of the few places on the island in such good condition, keeping its rural atmosphere with farmers’ houses and the old refuge tower. If you go for a stroll in the area you will find even more houses, some of them ancient, with great ethnographic value, as well as more refuge towers, ancient wells and an abundance of dry-stone constructions spread throughout the village.

Driving to Sant Agustí, you have to find the right turn-off on the road that connects the villages Sant Josep de sa Talaia and Sant Antoni de Portmany. The turn-off is located very near another one on the same road, the one signposted to
Sant Agustí d’Es Vedrà Pittoresk, bezaubernd, ruhig: In der Gemeinde Sant Josep de sa Talaia befindet sich ein Ort besonderer Schönheit, das Dorf Sant Agustí d’es Vedrá, das zu den größten Geheimnissen der Insel zählt. Da die Ortschaft auf dem Gipfel eines Berges liegt, hat man von hier aus einen herrlichen Panoramablick auf die gesamte Umgebung. Der größte Anziehungspunkt für Einheimische wie Besucher ist die Kirche San Agustín mit den umliegenden Gebäuden, die alle in einem perfekt erhaltenen Zustand sind. Die Bauten im Zentrum der Ortschaft strahlen die ländliche Atmosphäre früherer Zeiten aus. Es gibt viele Bauernhäuser, alte Brunnen, Trockensteinbauten (ohne Zement) und sogar einen alten Wehrturm, in dem die Bevölkerung vor Angriffen von außen Zuflucht suchen konnte. Es ist eine der wenigen Ortschaften der Insel, die ihre ursprüngliche, ländliche Atmosphäre bewahrt haben. Verteilt im ganzen Dorf findet man zahlreiche Bauernhäuser, alte Wehrtürme, historische Bauten von großem ethnographischem Wert, alte Brunnen, Zisternen und viele Trockensteinbauten.
