The Industrial Heritage Platform, University of Malta

The Industrial Hertiage Platform at the University of Malta was set up in 2015 by Prof. Robert Ghirlando, with the objective of promoting, facilitating and coordinating research and study in the field of industrial heritage, in particular Maltese Industrial Heritage. The IHP organises meetings and conferences to promote and share knowledge and is active on the dissemination of research and information. These include a Seminar on Industrial Heritge organised in 2016 at the Old Power Station (now Demolished) and a Conference on the Future of Industrial Heritage under the auspices of the President of Malta in 2023.
