What are your future plans/goals for the next cou ple of years? That’s simple ! I’d like to make my brand recogniz able, to achieve business success and fulfill myself as an artist . Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you? We are at the stage of creating our Instagram. That’s where readers and potential customers get connected with me . Can’t wait to elaborate an aes thetic style for the IG feed so it can inspire the fol lowers:)
There are two people who inspire me the most, my best friend Maria and my love Adrien. They are al ways there for me, supporting any of my ideas, mo tivating me day after day, filling me up with positive energy. I would also mention Bono, his voice and songs are the biggest inspiration for any type of art. My advise for new designers is simple: don’t be afraid or shy of any kind of experiments in fashion. Follow your artistic heart and imagination. No one knows better than you how to make it Your way!
Exclusive Interview with Yuliana Arkhi Yuliana, can you please tell us a bit more about yourself and how did you discover a love for fashion? I am 26 years old and I’m originally from Saint-Pe tersburg. I believe my passion for fashion I discov ered when I was a little girl playing my dolls and imagining my Barbie looks perfect. Still remember I used to tell her : “Only I know what you should wear to look gorgeous” :) How is working in fashion different today than from when you started out? I’m convinced that working in fashion nowadays is more challenging that it was even 5 years ago when I just started to study fashion design in IFA Paris. One of the main reasons is that market is oversaturated with offers and the competition be tween brands is huge . The pandemic also had a large negative impact on fashion industry. Many brands and designers have to survive during this tough time.
In your daily routine, what resources do you like to learn new things about art, fashion? There’s a Russian Instagram page @synchronize_ art. I find it pretty informative and amuzing. I also fancy watching historical dramas that show plen ty of chic garments and accessories, epochs and styles. What's the most important thing you want your potential clients to know about you? I guess I would like them to know that there’s a huge part of my soul in my designs. I take care of every button, thread and all those little details that create a perfect gown. Sometimes I literally can’t sleep at night thinking about how to make everything better. I really expect my customers value that:) Who is the person that inspires you the most and why? What will be the suggestions to new designers?
When did you knew you wanted to be a designer? Honestly, I’m eager to be a singer and I’m learning to play the piano :) I’ve never liked to draw, much less sewing and technical pattern making. But I have this obsession with aesthetics and I discov ered that sense of satisfaction and joy when creat ing some gowns. How would you describe yourself to people that don't know you? Hmm. In three words: honest, creative, resourceful. I would also add that I always have my head in the clouds and love philosophical conversations about the purpose of our life. Are there particular issues within the fashion in dustry that concern you? Yes, certainly. There are a couple of issues that concern me the most. First one is plastic pollution caused by fast fashion and an unconscious con sumption of goods. Second issue is related to the obsession with body shape trends. I believe it’s a personal thing of each woman and everyone deserves feel comfortable in their own body and feel gorgeous no matter what the trends of today tell us. Body shape shouldn’t be a trend at all! What kind of impact do you hope to make in the fashion world? Actually I’ve never thought about it. I guess I’m keen to make the reality we live in a bit more marvelous and women look sweet and unique.

Kimberly, how did your career begin in the world of beauty? My career all started back in 2018. A dear friend and mentor, Crystal Jones believed in me and offered to teach me. Ever since then I have been working on my dream and I'm seeing my dream come true. Why is having an MUA essential to a photographer? Having an MUA working alongside a pho tographer is important to creating “that” look. What can you provide to help a pho tographer's images stand out? What I pro vide is a vision. It’s not just about the ma keup, but the overall look all the way down to the attire. Working together as a team to get the job doneEver Why is shooting for camera and lights, different than everyday makeup? When you’re in front of the camera you have to have a little more coverage to be able to see the dimensions of the face ver sus with every day makeup, it’s lighter. Also when our team of creatives gets together to bring an idea to life, it's so exciting to see my creations come to life. You have an impressive portfolio. It’s not about you, it’s about them. ” Can you tell us about a memorable moment you had while doing makeup? A memorable time I had was being apart of sho oting my best friend for MALVIE, twice. Now both of us are published. What area of the makeup industry is your favo rite and why? I love editorial and special effects makeup. It al lows me to be creative and showcase my skills. In your opinion, what are common mistakes you see women make on their makeup? Common mistakes I see women make on the ir makeup is choosing a foundation color that matches their skin tone. (as close as possible). Can you name some of your favorite makeup products to use? A few of my favorite makeup products to use, especially on brown skin is sacha buttercup set ting powder, Ben Nye Final Seal and Elf power grip primer. What three makeup items should no wo man leave home without? A nude lip gloss, pres sed powder and concealer.

The best piece of advice I have ever gotten is be yourself, don't be afraid of anything, declare yourself, and I follow it.
Please briefly tell us about your background. Who is Torosian Alena as an artist? Alena Toroian is a begginer artist. Six months ago I realized that I wanted to become a fashion stylist. Before that, I already worked as a personal stylist. And now I have graduated from PSFA ACADEMY by Svetlana Ivanova. How hard has it been establishing yourself in the industry and what are some of the largest things you've faced? My way is just beginning. I think the difficulties are still ahead. Although I al ready have a portfolio and, of course, difficulties on the shoots were. The biggest of them is that the model can refuse to work before the shooting. How does the day of a wardrobe stylist looks like? It all depends on what day it is. The days before shooting are a creative search, a search for inspiration, a search for a team, a location, and the collection of necessary props. If it's a shooting day, then this is the way to shoot with suit cases, control the shooting process. If it's the day after the shooting, then it's traveling around the city to return things to their owners and, of course, rest. Interview with
You'll have to carry suitcases, pull up your body))) What is the best piece of advice you've ever gotten and do you follow it?
Torosian Alena
If you could say one thing to someone younger who looks up to you, what would you say? Don't look or listen to anyone but yourself. Do what you love. Be yourself. Listen to your heart. "...be yourself, don't be afraid of anything, declare yourself, and I follow it."
Tell me about a time you had a very stressful day at work and how did you handle it?
The most stressful day I had when I was shooting a fashion editorial story for a the sis at the academy. I worked on it as an art director, producer and stylist. Three lo cations, a lot of images and very little time were planned. It was also added that the day before the model refused to shoot and I had to look for an urgent replacement. But we coped with the task, thanks to the whole team. I am very grateful to the assis tants who helped me and the photographer. If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your career what would it be?
Who were your biggest influences? My teachers. As the professional sphere, Svetlana Ivanovna, the founder of the PSFA Academy, had the greatest influ ence on me. She inspired, guided and taught me. I am very grateful to her for my new profession What's been the biggest highlight in your career so far? For me, every shoot is a highlight. I love the shooting process and getting to know the creative teams. It's always an interest ing adventure. What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years? WHAT IS IT AND WHY IS IS THE FUTURE OF FASHION?
ger generations spend more time shopping, socializing and playing there, it’s critical that retail and fashion brands understand how to hop on the opportunities in front of them. It’s time for the fashion industry to create roots on the digital word. As brands and all major events went virtual in 2020, in response to the pandemic, so did clothing. That’s not just me talking about re tailers and luxury brands finally prioritizing e-commerce, but about actual digital sho wrooms. Instead of consumers having to use their imaginations to visualize how an outfit looks — and more importantly, how it would look on them — they can now virtually inte ract with any piece of clothing they want. They can take a 360-degree look at a product from the comfort of their homes. They can zoom in on even the smallest details, rather than re lying on a few photos the brand uploaded to the website. Consumers now have the ability to even virtually try on items by dragging one or more products onto photos of themselves.
The Metaverse
Merging Physical and Digital As fashion immerses itself in the Metaverse, it can be separated into two different forms: the combination of physical and digital, whe re clothing can be worn using augmented or virtual realities, and fully digital, where items are sold directly to an avatar.
For fashion designers and brands, learning to blend the real with the unreal is going to become a necessary skill in order to tran sition into the future. Similarly, digital design will likely entice a flood of creative output, so designers and brands must understand how to reach their customer base while mastering digital tools.
The internet evolved – and it’s still evolving – right before our eyes. What started with di gital pictures of cats and other cute animals has begun a revolution that transformed every aspect of our lives – I mean, can you imagine not having internet all the time the se days? We use it to work, to communicate with our loved ones, to buy things and even to pay our bills. When we think about it, we might think of the apps we use everyday: Google, Instagram, Spotify, Pinterest and many others. But this doesn’t nearly paint an accurate picture of how the current digital landscape is inter lacing with our developing virtual realities. These technologies have taken a hold into our life and we’re already encountering re ality in an entirely new way, it’s like we have two worlds in one now. Digital tools have tric ked our senses into new auditory and visual experiences, and soon enough, this could apply to other senses as well. So, what now? A future where new social relationships and sensory experiences will exist? Yes, that’s ac tually what’s happening, and you may have heard of it before: the Metaverse. It may seem like the Metaverse is best suited to serve the gaming industry and tech giants like Google and Microsoft, but that’s not entirely true. Any brand can find its way into the metaverse, including an executive working in the retail space, and, of course, that’s what I’m most interested in: how the metaverse can transform fashion and how fashion will change our relationship with the Asmetaverse.thefashion industry becomes more and more familiar with metaverse, and youn
The future of Fashion? Valentina RoqueArticle by
There’s a firm belief that digital fashion is the future of fashion, because it allows people to express themselves freely in the metaverse. Di gital fashion is more sustainable, more acces sible, and allows for limitless creativity without the constraints of the physical world.
The future of fashion isn’t driving to a sto re to make sure you’re buying clothing that fits. It’s not a limited shopping expe rience on an online store. It’s being able to virtually see, touch and experience products as if you’re really there.

What do you hope people take away from viewing your images? I hope that my photographs generate visual im pact and manage to communicate the story that I want to tell with them. That when someone sees a photograph of me, recognize a style and say, this photo was made by Mariano. We are on the right
I am based in Argentina, specifically in Bu enos Aires, Capital. I am a professional in economics, and I started photography 6 years ago as a hobby, looking for a creative activity to break the routine of numbers. At first I only did landscape and travel photo graphy, then during the pandemic I began to focus on portrait and fashion photography. How did you move specifically towards fashion and beauty photography? What does fashion mean to you? I got closer to fashion through photo graphy, lighting and retouching courses that I was doing during the pandemic. I re ally liked the creative process and teamwork to achieve the desired objectives. Fashion means Art for me, expressed in all visual senses, where there are no structured rules and everyone can impose their own depending on what they want to tell the viewer. Do you prefer working on location or in the studio? What's your favo rite light source, and why do you choose it? I prefer to work in a studio, for the comfort, safety and control of the si tuation, although I understand that it is also necessary to work outdo ors, especially in editorial fashion, where the possibilities of scenarios and creativity are endless. My most used light modifier for fashion pho tography is the Beauty Dish, I really like the contrast it generates. Do you plan each photo out or are they created more spontaneously? Together with the team formed for the production, the ideas and re ferences on which we are going to move are set. The shots are not planned, they arise and create with the contribution of everyone. What does it take to achieve a unity of the artistic and the commercial aspect of fashion pho tography? To achieve an artistic and commercial unity in fa shion photography, the essential thing is that what we want to sell, the final product, look good, that is, if I am in a shoe campaign, all the importance of photography has to turn depending on whether that shoe looks its best and then the rest. It is es sential that everything harmonizes in pursuit of the objective, colors, lights, model, styling, makeup, etc.
To begin, where are you based? How long has photography been a hobby and career of yours? What motivated you to get started?
-
What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years? My main objective in the next two years is to continue learning and consolidating the foundations of my work in the world of fashion photography. Continuing on this path progres sing step by step, finding and rediscovering my style, differentiating myself, are the things that make my head demand more and more.
Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you? You can find my work in the following ne tworks and Instagramlinks:@mr_fotografia_ph maluro74.myportfolio.com kavyar.com/ug9ormjwdo34 Interview with Mariano Rodriguez
path, there is still a long way to go. What advice would you give to someone looking at a career in photography? I would tell him to study, to look for references in the world of photography that inspire him and from there, generate his own style. I would also tell him to seek to break the typical rules that they teach you in photography schools, not everything has to be from a book, photography is an art and art does not have rigid rules. What is your best source of inspiration in your photography journey? The best source of inspiration for my photography today is on social networks like Instagram and Pinterest, following the work of references, talented photo graphers from around the world and fa shion magazines, looking for inspiration. Sometimes that idea arises during the dream and other times by brainstorming with the team. How do you feel about digital manipulation in present-day photography? What do you think it delivers in the final image? Personally I do not have a closed or rigid opinion regarding digital manipulation. I think it's fine depending on what I want to convey with the pho tograph. Image retouching is a job, very hard indeed. Then it is the viewer who decides if he likes an image or not. In fashion there is a trend towards natu ral retouching, but all the images have a minimum retouching because what I am selling with them has to look perfect.

The approach I use with the models is to get to know them and connect with them. In this way I create a positive feeling that puts the person at ease. The advantages that these attentions bring to the person with whom I have to shoot, are those of having spontaneity, safety in your self and a better environment on set.

Yuri, could you please briefly introduce yourself, and tell us about your first en counter with photography?
-
My name is Yuri Varesini, I am 22 years old and I live in Como. At the moment I am attending the last year of academy at Ferrari Fashion School in Milan, to be came a professional fashion photogra pher. My passion for photography born when I was a child and my father showed me the wonderful photos than my grand father took in his photo studio. The emo tions I felt while seeing those photos were many, but the most think that I like was that I can capture a moment, a style or an emotion through a photo shoot. What has been your most successful moment to date in your career so far?
Interview
One of the best experiences I've had so far was my first publication for an edi torial magazine and it ended up on the cover. I was really proud of the result and what the photos were like. How do you manage to make your models feel comfortable in front of the camera?
The main focus for a good portfolio is show the personal style. Personally I rec ommend to collaborate with photogra phers and stylists who know how to en hance the models and bring out the best in them.
Describe please a day at a shoot, what happens and what is the trick to capturing a great shot? When I arrive in the studio or on the posi tion where I have to shoot, I immediately confront the team in order to prevent or fix any problems. Is essential communi cate with each member of the group to obtain an excellent result. Then I check all the equipment, the set lights and take a couple of test shots. When the whole team and the model are ready, we orga nized a little briefing to talk about the at titude and the posing that will be in the shots. After then we can start the photo shooting. What do you look for in a creative team? What key skills are you looking for to ensure you are picking the best artists to work with? Creativity, versatility, commitment and passion are these winning elements for creating unique works with strong visual communication. What would be some tips you would give to a beginning photographer?
The best advice I can give to a beginner photographer is to compere with the professionals, always stay in touch with creative people for have new input, and practice as much as possible without giving up. What would be your tips/advice to mod els looking to expand their portfolio?
Julia Wozniak 71Fashion & Beauty | March 2022
I am in favor of post production, but not the one that is too invasive. I think that invest ing time on the photo can improve more the starting shot. I am convinced that, if you balance the retouching, the photo is much more spontaneous, unique and particular.
What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years?
My next goals that I would like to achieve in a couple of years are: have a personal studio where I can experiment with new techniques, to increase collaborations with new people and artist who teach me to improve myself and express myself even better. I believe it is important to expand one's points of view. Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you?
In addition to being sharp and well lit, your photos are beautifully edited. What is your retouching/production philosophy?
You can easily contact me via instagram: phyurivaresini or via email at, phyurivaresini@libero.it
If I couldn't be a photographer I would like to work with cars and become a racing car driver. Because another big passion of mine is cars and the whole world of motors.
If you couldn't be a photographer, what would be your other career choice?
When I work I like to apply color correction, skin retouch and correct some little imper fections to have a photograph with an even stronger communicative impact.

Okey. What was the craziest thing your admirers or fans ever did to you? Oh. men can be very creative! Especially in Dubai where they are not limited with resources.
I returned the key, but his assistant brought it back as the guy told he cant drive it anymore as cannot focus on anything but me posing in the car. He said that the cat became mine the very moment I got into it. Oh, What a story! Okey, What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy? Freedom to be yourself and to express your feelings
I remember one guy gave me his fancy sport car (which I later sold and bough a condo, lol) just be cause he wanted some revealing pictures of me being topless in his car, to be honest, to be barely covered. he payed good.
One day I was reading and this quote by Rachel Ingber stuck with me: A name represents identity, a deep feeling, and holds tremendous significance to its owner. I have made my decision. To make it sweet and simple yet strong to carry my persona, hence V was born Oh wow, all over the continents? What was the most exotic or fascinating place you've been to? And where is home now? Oh I love to explore new places, to learn different cultures and other people's values. Every single country was a little puzzle of who I became I loved them all starting from little towns in England or France where people keep traditions and live the same lifestyle as their grandparents did, to exotic islands in Thailand or India where people keep it simple and you can think about highest values for humans and meditate on the nature all day long. But I'm a city girl, for the last 6 years I've been residing in Manhattan, New York and I love it with all its craziness! Interview with
Yet taking a look back, I must admit Dubai UAE was the coolest, hip, place with the most modern vibe, where people live on the edge and never agree for less than over the top quality in every single aspect of life.
Happy to have you here, Ms.V. Tell us your story, how did you get started modeling? And most importantly, about your name, how it originates? I bet our readers are intrigued Hello everyone, Thanks for having me here, And yes, my name is so unusually short My full name is of Latin origin. It’s elegant and re gal, with a lot of mythology and meaning behind it. Due to my diverse family, which literally spanned through multiple countries in Eastern Europe and Russia and my modeling career that started back in my childhood, I have traveled all over the continents including Asia and Middle East. People in every country tried to adapt my name to their native language. I felt like my name, my identity was constantly changing.
Exclusive
Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling? Well, I used to have boutiques of authentic wom en clothes, lingerie and accessories.
Now, since I'm doing private modeling, people from all over send me some outfits asking to pose in them, or to dress up and attend some events representing them. I end up owning tons and tons of unique piec es, which I'm in turn at times agree to sell. It seems to get very popular, and offers at times flowing in non stop, asking to open an auction to sell my personal items, oh those fans!
What are the achievements you are proud of most of today? We life in a physical world with its physical values, and I'm pretty much well payed. Also as I'm a perfectionist, I normally get to the top level at anything I'm into, but you'll be sur prised, the most things I'm proud of are not It’smaterialistic.moreabout trust and reputation. the big gest accomplishment and compliment to me is to see customers coming back with new projects over and over again
Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you? I keep it pretty intense on Social medias, I love to share my experiences, opinion and always announce my next trips, asking people rec ommendation about local "must try", "must do" things, or just to join me for performances or even a cup of coffee, So watch out!
What is the most challenging in being a model? As in every single business I guess is to find your strength and then to reinvent yourself without changing yourself.
What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration? People, I love to work with people, work closely, love to learn my partner (whoever it is, photog rapher, customer, or boss, lol) and to be fully fo cused on his/her vision, wishes or even needs, let him take me to his inner world, and gain his perspective. I get attached, I get connected. I start to explore from there, I start to create. My methods are broad and efforts are endless. I do not like easy wins. Sparkles in my partner eyes when we make it come true is the biggest inspiration, I guess it's called love. So I'm always in love!!!
What keeps you excited about life in general? Constantly learning new things, yet mastering the known ones are the key.
Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you have started? I honestly do not know, I only lived one life, a model life. But yes I think confidence is what you get, although I really like it when once in a while you loose your maturity and get con fused and naïve like a kid, I always find it charming What kind of life would you like to have? But I already live my best possible life!!!! The only sad part about it, time flies by so quickly, and even though I visit same places over and over, I can't put experiences on repeat.OMG, see I'm insatiable - constantly looking for some thing new yet willing to hold the old ones, Haha!

In addition to being sharp and well lit, your photos are beautifully edited. What is your retouching/production philosophy? Thank you for that. My philosophy used to be so wrong. Blend this blend that. Dodge and burn this to hell and back. My new philosophy is that the model must look realistic. Whatever you decide to re touch the model must look human. We all
When did your passion for photography start and what were the main milestones that turned you into the artist you currently are?
What inspires you and what gives you ideas to create your beautiful images? Can your ideas change depending on the model you are working with? I truly get inspired by seeing high level beauty content from TV to social media. I You can tell when people put time into their craft. It makes me want to work harder. Depending on the model, most definitely. and if we can syn chronize during the our shoot we can capture great work. If she moves one way, it might be interesting to capture that from another angle and lighting arrangement. Thus we go down the rabbit hole of photography.
My passion for photography started in high school. I was always involved in the arts but photography was sort of a secondary thing. I always carried a camera around. I only began to persue photography in the last few years. For me, the milestones dealt with learning! The process of making a team and how to actually execute to bring concepts to reality. What cam era can maximize the shooting quality?
How has photography influenced you as a person and what do you love most about being a photographer? I can't lie! Photography has become a way of life for me. I am always thinking of shooting now. Cameras, angles, colors and networking. Always thinking of who to approach and what lighting works best for whichever concept. I can honestly say I obsess over photography. I love watching a client's expression when see ing the finished product. I love the feel you get while shooting. The model is in model mode. The makeup artist is doing touchups. The light ing is awesome. The setting is great and I'm just snapping away!
Has your vision and style evolved or changed over time? I would say both have evolved for me exponen tially. From shooting pretty much anything to zeroing in to the beauty industry. My style has evolved aesthetically as well. I like sexy and sexy works. I don't want to limit myself or the people I work with to that. Although beauty is subjective I would like to work with more natu ral shoots using flowers.
From your point of view, what makes the shoot successful? For me, I have a successful shoot when my creative goals are met. Did you get the money shot? Did you get any great angles? Were you able work within time constraints? Here's the question I ask myself the most. Can I see the potential of a certain photo for post produc tion?

have pores and blemishes and that's okay. Too much retouching ruins a good photo. Good lighting and retouching that leaves the face intact is vital to your production. Photography can be a somewhat unfor giving industry with a lot of egos, how do you deal with it on set or behind the scenes? That's funny that you ask. Things can get really messy. I try my best to stay grounded. Being humble and appreciative also allows room for peo ple to communicate with you. Remembering the shoots/events won't be too long. Following guidelines are beneficial to everyone. able to hold out and bite your tongue can open doors. I always try to think of other people's perspectives. If you couldn't be a photographer, what would be your other career choice? I've spent so much time in photography that I don't think I can function outside of it. (Laughs). I think I'd choose to be a videographer or a creative director. Perhaps a career in mar keting would be very interesting. I'm sure people can relate when I say my mind is full if ideas! What is one last impression you want to leave in your photographs? I would like for it to be understood that photography can equate to humanity and life experiences. I am constantly learning and ex posing myself to new people and new things. I would like to explore the world and the people in it. Photography is the tool that can open that door for me. I'd also say growth is vital. What has been the highlight of your career so far and what are your hopes/dreams for the future? The highlight of my career has been participating in LAFW2021. I took my first trip to Cali and met some amazing people. Just be ing a guy from Philly and being accepted into that world gives me goosebumps. It has also hum bled me. I feel like I entered a dif ferent tier. What does the future hold for me? My burning desire is to be photograph models for a major beauty campaign. I would love to work with modeling agencies. I would love to take parts in major fashion weeks like PFW(Paris Fashion Week) and LFW(London Fashion Week). It would be a great excuse to travel. I am dying to become involved with NYFW. I am actively chasing these things so I guess time will reveal all! Where can we see more of your works and get connected with you? If anyone is interested, you can follow me on Ins tagram at @YoungKingsMedia My website also has recent runway photography, publishing and beauty work. My overall portfolio work!

Tell us about the development process that culminated in the artist you are today. I am new to Fashion style, but I have always been at tracted by beauty, fashion and a strong desire to create. I did not decide to do what I love right away, there were many factors due to which I had to give up my dream. But 08/01/2021 has become a significant day for me. In 2019, I studied at the Rebel School, at the moment I am finishing my studies at the Fashion Academy PSFA, I have completed fashion stylist courses everywhere. You have an incredible career – what have been your highlights? This is meeting new people, a new team, but also, of course, recognition of my work. How would you describe your work to someone who has never seen it? This is a very creative and beautiful pro cess, but on the other hand it is very dif ficult (morally and physically), you must really want to create and get paid for it. What's the most important thing you want your potential clients to know about you? For me, the most important point is to show how the world of fashion and beau ty can change a person. The request and wishes of the customer always come first. I love my job. What is the best piece of advice you've ever gotten and do you follow it? Never give up if you really want to achieve something. Even if it is very hard, it will get easier. I follow this all the time and it is very motivating. If you could say one thing to someone younger who looks up to you, what would you say? Everyone is equal, in order to be on the same level with someone, you need not retreat, go only forward if you really want to. Tell us one thing about yourself people might find surprising. I continue to improve my knowledge, my experience. In the near future, I plan to make a quality product, with a great team. What does life look like for you now and where do you see yourself in the future? At the moment, it is very difficult for beginners to ad vance. It used to be easier with this, since the demand for stylists was very small and good stylists could be counted on the fingers.
How is working in fashion different today than from when you started out? Achieve my goals, create a lot of projects, filming, pub lishing in the best magazines and of course, so that my work is well paid. What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years? All my works are in my Instagram @rishapashkova Exclusive Interview

What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years? Continue to have fun and update myself, and may the passion for this art always remain alive
Luca, can you tell us about yourself, please. Where do you live now and where are you from? How did you discover photography and what motivated you to get started? Hi everyone, I’m Luca Santoro, I love photography espe cially the fashion and glamor portrait genre, I was born in Brescia, Italy 54 years ago, where I still live. I started photographing since school, in 1985 to be exact, where I also had photography as a school subject.
Are you the sort of photographer who plans for every minuscule detail or are you more spontaneous with your creations? Where do you find the majority of your inspiration? I think it’s a bit of a middle ground, something is planned, but then I also leave room for the crea tivity and spontaneity of the models, the inspira tions are taken by looking at many photographs of very good photographers and I try to use them sometimes as models of ideas.
How do you keep yourself motivated and your photography fresh? I always try to set myself new goals for the future What’s going through your mind when you are on set behind the camera? I always think that I try to do a good job and that the poses of the models are correct Luca, how would you define “beauty”? What does it mean to you? They say beauty is subjective, but I would define it in two words, harmony and style.
Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you? They can follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Flickr and the best Kavyar, or on my site lucasantorophotography.com, thanks to you for this great interview and to everyone who follows

What’s the best part of being a photographer? What do you love the most about your job? The thing I like most in photography is the creativity and style that each of us can create, then in my genre the thing I really like is interacting with the models and crea ting the right feeling to be able to do a good job How would you describe your photographic vision? In my genre, my photographic vision favors the har mony of the female body in its geometric figures and sensuality What are the most important lessons you have learned about photography so far? Beyond the usual technical notions and light manage ment, I believe that the thing I have learned the most is to try to use its best feature in each model to try to make it perform as well as possible. How do you connect with your models? Do they tend to be people you know or strangers? They are almost never people I already know except for a few cases, I usually try initially to do an outdoor shoo ting to see if we find the right feeling for both of us, if this happens then we also shoot in the studio.

I can`t say that I think through every little thing in ad vance. Sometimes spontaneous shootings are very lively and this arouses interest. It is very important for me to notice the little things at the time of shoot ing, in the environment, in the locations, in emotions.
or pure and retouched. I like to refine my photos in Photoshop, because it helps me convey my idea better, like if an artist paints a picture, through re touching I bring a part of myself into the images.
What services do you provide and what does your "team" consist of? I shoot a lot of fashion photography, clothing brands, cosmetics, beauty photos, and I like to work with ordinary people - for me, each person is individually beautiful, and each person is a model. I think that I am very lucky with the people who make up the team at photo shoots and in the process of preparing projects, these are designers, stylists, makeup artists, assistants, decorators, artists in fashion, trainers, videographers and editors.
What is typically in your camera bag and what is your favorite photography accessory, other than your camera? I really like to use optical effects on photoses sions, refraction of light, so in my bag there are a huge number of crystals refracting light, and a glass ball or a glass cube.
What's the best part of being a photogra pher? What do you love the most about your job? In my work, I really appreciate diversity, every day something new happens, I meet new peo ple, I see new places, cities, countries. In your opinion, what is the difference between fashion and beauty photography? What's your favorite? The difference between beauty and fashion photography, in my opinion, is in the features of image retouching, as well as in composi tional possibilities, in conveying dynamics and mood. I really love both genres.
How do you keep yourself motivated and your photography fresh? I am constantly learning to see something un usual, even in the most familiar places I am looking for new emotions. Of course, it is of great importance for me to be in touch with the fashionable information field, to see what my colleagues are doing, what inspires them. You bring a very high production value to your work. What is your retouching/production philosophy? How important is Photo shop in your final images? I like photography from all sides, both natural
What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years? In the future, I want to visit new countries where I have not yet been. I would also like to return to the process of creating photographs with non-digital technologies. Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you? Most of my creativity is in my Instagram account, where I keep in touch. When did your passion for photography start and what were the main milestones that turned you into the artist you currently are? My passion for photography began as a child, when you could only shoot on photographic film and the number of photo frames was limited. I treasured every moment, carefully chose the composition. You have a very unique style. How would you describe your photography to someone who has never seen it? I really love history, the history of arts and always learn from the great masters of painting and draw ing. Therefore, I would call my style artistic fashion.
Are you the sort of photographer who plans for every minuscule detail or are you more sponta neous with your creations? Where do you find the majority of your inspiration?

To begin, where are you based? How long has photography been a hobby and career of yours? What motivated you to get started? Based in the Washington D.C. Area. Photogra phy has been a hobby since 2009 and a career since 2016. Just loved creating works of art that last forever. Devin, tell us a secret, what is the key to getting the best out of someone for portrait and beauty shots? For me, it's creating the emotion inside of the subject's mind before picking up the camera hopefully that emotion and expression will carry over to the photo graph. What does it take to achieve a unity of the artistic and the commercial aspect of fashion photography?
I try to think about the story I want to tell, then I make sure all the pieces align as best as possi ble to convey that story. How do you feel about digital manipulation in present-day photography? What do you think it delivers in the final image? I think that the digital ma nipulation portion of pho tography is a great tool to elevate your work. It also can be a crutch if you don’t understand the craft. What services do you provide and what does your "team" consist of? I provide a host of photography services primarily fashion, commercial, and wed ding photography. My team offers every aspect of making great images from hair, makeup, creative direction, videography, logistics and etc. Do you prefer working on location or in the studio? What's your favorite light

source, and why do you choose it? I love both equally. I love the control of light that you get in the studio. I also love the dynamic backgrounds and atmo sphere you receive on location. My favor ite light sources a parabolic softboxes and beauty dishes. In your opinion, what makes the good picture stand out from the average? Storytelling. What inspires you and what gives you ideas to create your beautiful images? Can your ideas change depending on the model you are working with? I want to create stories that we don't usually see in my community. I think the model can affect and should affect the images/story you are trying to capture. How has photography influenced or changed you as a person? I think photography has allowed me to see the world differently, I'm always thinking about how can I make this mo ment an epic image. What are your future plans/goals for the next couple of years? Photographer and creative direct two major commercial campaigns in 2022.
