The Army of God part 1

Army of God part 1 Do you feel insufficient, well then you are perfect for this Army, read 2nd Corinthians 3, 4, 5 and 6. It says not that we are sufficient of our selves – to think anything of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God. We want you to know that it doesn’t take the gifted, the talented, the already together. The eyes of the Lord go to and fro looking for someone in whom he can show himself strong. He’s not looking for the already strong. He’s looking for those who realize I’m nothing – it’s YOUR power, it’s YOUR gifts, it’s YOUR strength, it’s YOUR glory. 1 Corinthians chapter 1 says when you were called, not many of you are wise mighty or noble, in fact the world considered you nothing! But there is GOOD NEWS! GOD USES NOTHINGS!! In fact He’s looking for an army of nothings, in whom He can show Himself strong. The great Katherine Kulhman once said “Lord, I’m not talented like these other people, I don’t have anything to offer you, but if you can use nothing, here is nothing!” God isn’t looking for silver vessels. He’s not looking for Golden vessels. He’s looking for WILLING vessels. We mustn’t limit God anymore to our talent or lack of it. His power in us is able to do exceedingly above all we could ask or think. Unfortunately I feel many churches facilitate this when they tell the people to find their talent and see what they are good at, see what they can do for Jesus. Leaving many to do nothing because they feel they have no natural talent. It’s time to see the greatness in each other and in the unlimited untapped Power of the universe, the precious Holy Spirit with-in us. We need to stop the job fair-talent search method and just ask the Holy Spirit what He wants us to do. As children of faith we’re to be lead by Him, not what the natural realm around us tells us. Many times He will have us do things that we feel that we cannot do. You see, then we cannot rely on our own strength and He has us where He needs us to be. Realizing it’s all Him we must totally rely on Him, His strength, His ability. See this leaves

no room for pride in our own ability. We see this all through scripture. From Moses the stutterer, who God didn’t have deliver his people when he was young and strong and ready to deliver them. But he sent him into the wilderness defeated in his own strength then when he was old and stuttered and drained of his own ability he was ready. To Peter and Paul, the spirit sent peter the rough outcast to the well taught groomed Pharisees and Sadducees; and sent Paul the Pharisee of the Pharisees to the unsaved uncivilized gentiles. Ha that’s like sending a punk rocker to the pope and the pope to the punk rockers. You see He wasn’t looking for their ability or talent, but their total reliance on HIM, HIS power and HIS ability!

Do not forget who you are… YOU are a revolutionary in GOD”S ARMY!
