Parklife
Explorers Park, Sienna Wood, Haynes
This fancy $2.6 million park is great for all ages, from toddlers to adults. The hero is clearly this fabulous tree of life, with two giant yellow tube slides cascading from its canopy and landing in the sandy playground base. Follow the path from the main play area, past the two grassy oval-like spaces, with cricket nets and pitch, to the colourful basketball half court, handball wall and climbing wall on the rear. Adjacent to this are some fun cement tunnels that kids can explore with a rope bridge as well. There’s fitness equipment for adults wanting to get a bit of exercise with instructions on how to use each piece, toddler playground, a variety of kids play equipment for different ages, 4 bbq burners with shaded picnic areas, climbing wall, ball courts, cricket net and more! Well spread out too. Beware there are no toilets!
