Recovering hazardous cargoes is one of our specialties. The seas are full of shipwrecks with hazardous cargoes which form potential time bombs, and their number is only increasing. Based on our ISO 14000 certiďŹ cation and expertise, Mammoet Salvage has an excellent track record in environmental protection operations. During our salvage operations we always take measures to prevent pollution.Based on this track record and our innovative solutions we have been awarded a prestigious contract to recover a wreck with a cargo of extremely toxic mercury.
