Dear Sindy
D E A R S I N D Y . . .
Our resident crafter Jane from @stylemysindy shows us how to up-cycle the classic 1976 dressing table into a glamorous and gilded scenesetter perfect for any bride-to-be, bridal showroom or bedroom.
Step-by-Step:
Clean dresser to remove any surface dirt and dust. Mask the mirror with tape and spray paint all over with white primer. Paint or spray the resin mouldings. Once dry apply into place with Gorilla superglue. Use a tiny bit of gold acrylic paint or Treasure gold paste applied with your finger to pick out any raised details on furniture such as handles. Repeat the process for the stool. Remove fabric stool cover and use as a template to cut a new piece of fabric, secure with double sided tape and replace seat.
