Resort
A 3 star resort on the adjoining NH03 : Nasik Mumbai Road. Providing luxury with comfort being the major specification, the hotel rooms are designed in a way to provide panaromic views of the natural greenscape the site is fortunate to have. GROUND FLOOR PLAN
Ground Floor PLan Typical Guest Room Plan First Floor Plan As a client presentation drawing, main focus was on incorporating the retained built mass along with facade development. Each guest had stunning mountain and highway view with it full length mirror facing the viewside. The front facade has interesting perforations which formed terraces. This was the primliminary idea pitching single line drawing which would later undergo changes as per client satisfation. NH.03 .NASHIK MUMBAI ROAD

Ma ss Housing
HOUSING is a human need but lately it has become a ʻprivilageʼ to own a house. This BROWN FIELD PROJECT is located at the heart of Chembur. The current residents were to rbe etained while the housing needs were met for more MIG and HIG categories. With changing times and human adaption, we are making comprimises on our most crucial day to day social activities. More social interaction along with design intervention that paves way for increased personal and communial spaces were the main concept of the project.
Design Process
IF TWO TERRACES WERE CLUBBED SIDE BY SIDE,A LARGERSAPCE WAS CREATED BUT THERE WAS NO PLAY OF LEVELS. SO THE TERRACES WERE DIVIDED BOTH HORIXONTALLY AND VERTICALLY.
13
DIFFERENT TYPOLOGIES ON SITE EXISITING OF FLATS WERE CORRIDOR PLACEMENT ESIGNED TO PROVIDE : RESTRICTS FLATS TO MAXIMUM OPPURTUNITY FACE ONE ELVATION OF PROVIDIG COMMON THROUGHOUT. SPACES. CORRIDOR WAS NOW PLACED IN THE CENTRE RESULTING IN THE FLEXIBILITY OF PLACING BASIC IDEA WAS TOGENERATE TERRACES WHICH FLATS AROUND THE GENERATES ALONG WITH THE DESIGN. FOUR SIDES TO ALLOW LIGHT AND VENTILATION TO THE NOW CORNER FLATS HAVING TWO FACES AND MIDDLES FLATS HAVING ONE FACE WERE MADE IN COMBINATION SO AS ENCLOSED CORRIDOR, A VOID WAS CREATED TO FACILITATE THE FORMATION OF TERRACES. WHICH WOULD ACT LIKE COMMON TERRACES.

n ts SO THE TERRACES WERE DIVIDED BOTH HORIXONTALLY AND VERTICALLY. STAIRCASE BLOCKS WERE ADDED TO BOTH SIDES FOR EASE OF ACCESS
TO ADD TO MORE VISUALS,TERRACES WERE MADE DOUBLE HEIGHTED IN A WAY THAT WHERE ONE TERRACES BEGINS, OTHER TERRACE WOULD START WOULD REACH HALFWAY IN THE HEIGHT TO MAKE IT INTERACTIVE. TERRACES WERE ALONGSIDE THE CORRIDOR TO PROVIDE OPENINGS TO EACH FLOOR.IF ONE FLOOR HAD ACCESS TO TERRACE ON ONE SIDE, ON THE OTHER IT WOUD HAVE THE VIEW OF THE BELOW TERRACE. THIS ENSURED WELL LIGHT CORRIDORS AND PROPER VENTILATION
FINS WERE ADDED AS DUCT AREA CLADDING TO ENHANCE THE FACADE AND ALSO EXHIBIT SOME PLAY OF SHADOWS DUCTS WERE PLACED ON THE EXTERNAL FACE TO FACILITATE PROPER LIGHT AND VENTILATION.
TO UTILIZE MAXIMUM NORTH LIGHTS MORE FLATS WERE PLACED ON THE NORTH ELEVATION WHILE THE FRONT SOUTH FACADE WAS LEFT TO GENERATE PLAY OF VOIDS.
A STTEPED PLAY OF TERRACES WAS FORMED ALONG THE DIAGONAL OF THE BUILIDNG AND THE OTHER ING WAS MIRRORED TO FORM A ‘V’ PATTERN.TO A PERSON VIEWING THIS FROM THE STRRET, THE CEILINGS OF THE RESPENTIVE FLATS WAS HIGHLIGHTED .
