ROTARY STRUCTURE AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE - 8 DESIGN PROCESS, NCR Mentor - Ar. Shrila Gupta Details worked out for the selected design of the outdoor rotary at Eldeco, Panipat. The intricate sculptural elements of the ionic column (classical order) are broken down for easy comprehension. In the process I learned a new method of dimensioning.

A public library is comprised of a browsing area and intricate. Seating system spaces with a few formal spaces for administration. These fundamental functions are out of date without technology being used in learning methods. My accountability for being more inclusive of the conventional functions and the changing styles led to bridges between spaces and fusion of different styles.

The planning is purely derived from the shape of zones within the premises of the natural environment. It was further given a rhythm dynamic using straight lines, curves and tapering shapes as shown. The architectural style is a unison of post modern and organic that was specifically baked for the complimenting aesthetic.

TENSILE ARCHITECTURE ELECTIVE - 1 D.B.H.C.O.A., Mumbai Mentor - Ar. Shreya Sen A Study of natural light weight forms have been carried out to identify natural geometrics which allows load transference in the most simplistic patterns, thus finding out the reason for its weightlessness.
Fabric Model
Form Finder
Grasshopper
Panel - Group Work Fabric modelling project exposed the variety of forms which are possible using tensile membranes. Form finder was used for clarifying the geometry of the forms made.
The desired form can be generated and carved through defining the span of the entire area to be sheltered along with the height. How the structure will work under the tensile stress was further determined on grasshopper.
Easy installation, light weight, flexibility, durability, fire resistance and overall cost effectiveness are some major pros of using tensile technology. The Hypar manifests a unique structural design in which a twisted membrane is attributed with the help of overhead structure.
Minimal surfaces are the smallest possible surfaces between curved linear boundaries, this experiment taught us a method of optimising our designs

CLUSTERS OF ACADEMIC SPACES FAHION DESIGN INSTITUTE GOREGAON EAST, MUMBAI STUDIO - 6, D.B.H.C.O.A. Inspired from the ruling principal of fashion which is to protect, decorate or conceal. Aim to develop an overall skin creating an elegant fluid design that displays unfamiliar patterns to galvanise students into being creative.
SITE PLAN
The colour scheme exhilarates the ambience. Interweaving and connecting different spaces with members running in arbitrary directions and intersecting which represents patching (fashion) architecturally. Open green spaces are incorporated into the building for natural cooling.
GROUND FLOOR LAYOUT
The first step I took for finalising my form was the Physical modelling experimentation using clay, ivory sheet and styrofoam. The process involved moulding, forming the roofs with ivory pieces and developing contours. Composing a general contrast between built and natural spaces with heights and compiling them together in the software. The final form was given colours and finished with windows/shading devices and skylights for the spots that require natural lighting regularly.

THE ENDESS CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION DESIGN INTERVENTIONS TEAM - MANAS VIJ, SHREYA WADKE, ADITI VERMA, FLEUR VAREL The Endless is an art museum that houses a range of artwork situated on the Adyar river bank. The form of the structure is derived from infinity loop. All forms of art have a storyline / rhythm that they embody. In turn, the form of the museum helps the user to have a similar experience of a storyline. The structure is an undulating and continuous gallery which starts off at the reception area. The sloping bridge moves away and back to the start, to come back with a new outlook and experience in perception of art.
