ANTHROPOMETRICS STUDIO Bachlore’s Cell “ DFGJ“
WZ
PROGRAM This studio focuses on understanding the human scale and proportions with the space, exploring the principles of conceptualization and space making. A volume of 3m x 3m x 3m was given to design a studio unit for ourselves with minimum requirements of bathing, sleeping and workspace. The aim was to develop the understanding of human scale and the space relative to it.

RELATED STUDY PROGRAM - II Contextual Documentation
EFIFGL B0SL4SZD;N APPROCH Measuring and documentation of the site has revealed many design principles which were reective to the function of the space. Brick and lime was used as both structural and decorative purpose. Openings of the building were set in a specic proportion and had decorative elements of Indo Saracenic style around it. Along with the materials and function aspects the library was also climate responsive in every manner with proper layirng in roong system.

The exercise started by ď€ nding a Dry Tree Branch to explore. Further the exercise was to tie threads from nodes to either branch ends or to other nodes forming triangles. The exercise continues by sketch branches them in detail. PROGRAM The brief was to design science center located near kamati baug, vadodara for the student and people of the vadodara, science center provides knowledge about different ď€ elds like physics, space, new innovations. Science center generally provide Exhibition pavilion as well as space for expert scientist lecture and some workshops. Also common amenities for science center such as admin, canteen, library etc.
Using the radial organisation pedestrian development has been done to further acquire visual cohesion.
ABOUT SITE the site is located near kamati baug, on the river bank of vishwamitri river. site has natural contour on three side towards vishwamitri river and it has dence vegitation on the west side of the site along the river bank.
Converging axial approach towards major spaces to elevate its signiď€ cance .
Various functional planes at different heights to achieve level modulation in the central exihibation space .
Along the curvature activities are symmetrically laid moving towards center which creates crescendo effect .
The various hierarchical interfaces within the space share symbiotic relationships which includes multitude of activities .
The activities at different hours of the day which occupies the place throughout .

APPROCH The redial zoning of the science center done in such a manner that all the functions are easily connected. We have to also include kamatibaug planatorium into scince center, so that bridge is provided which opens in exhibition pavilion. Whole zoning converted into 3 layer which act as introvert and extrovert to the context. There is passage between main core function layer which provide easy interaction. Due to the redial organization of built mass orientation it helps that each blocks can catch maxim mum wind, ventilation and light. The site has river on two sides on which i devlope riverfront with the verious science activity.
