About Conference
Hypoxic training is a training regimen that is being used to improve the performance of athletes as well as wellness. Athletes, fitness enthusiasts and individuals enjoy the health benefits of hypoxia due to well exposure to low oxygen air at high altitude. The recent technological advances paved the way to get the benefits of hypoxic training without travelling to high altitudes. The Dept of Sports, Faculty of Sports, MRIIRS is hosting a conference on “ Advances in Hypoxic Training” to disseminate the knowledge on the science behind hypoxic training, physiological responses, a combination of hypoxic methods, dose-response of hypoxia, concerns in hypoxic training, research gaps, advanced equipment and techniques in hypoxic training. The conference will be helpful to exercise physiologists, sports medicine experts, sports nutritionists, sports physiotherapists, sports psychologists, academicians, students mountaineering experts and enthusiasts and students in improving skills and knowledge on a wide range of current and future trends and developments in hypoxic training.
Participation Benefits
• Equip with the key skills and expertise in hypoxic training • Sharing of breadth of live experiences by experts • Online training on equipment and accessories used in hypoxic training • Helps in planning of athletic training for optimized performance
