Ordering Prior To The Event

We have created extensive menu offerings for your planning convenience. Our catering team will assist you with the coordination of your menus and ensure your needs are always met. We ask for advanced orders to achieve the finest in presentation and service for you and your guests. To ensure accuracy, we encourage you to appoint one member of your organization to place orders. In order to meet all of your food and beverage requirements, we request that you place your orders by 2:00 PM, two full business days prior to the event.

ORDERING FOOD & BEVERAGES DURING THE EVENT

We ask for you to place your order at least, two full business days in advance of your event. In doing so, you will have a larger selection and the ability to set a delivery time of your choice. Game day ordering is provided as a convenience to our guests, however, it is meant to supplement the pre-event order, not replace it. Event-day orders may be placed with the Suite Attendant serving your suite. Please allow approximately one hour for event-day order deliveries. Your cooperation is sincerely appreciated.

SERVICE CHARGE, TAX, & PRICING

Please note that all food, beverage, and related items are subject to applicable sales tax and a 19% service charge. For game-day picnics, 9.5% is kept by Professional Sports Catering while the other 9.5% is distributed to service staff. For game-day suite locations and all non-game-day events, 13.3% is kept by Professional Sports Catering while the other 5.7% is distributed to service staff. Additional payment for tips or gratuity for service, if any, is voluntary and at your discretion.

Method Of Payment

We ask for a credit card to be provided when any catering order is placed. This credit card will be used to hold the order and will not be charged until the end of your event. At the end of an event, your suite host will be presented with an itemized bill detailing all food and beverage purchases to be charged to the credit card provided. It is your responsibility to provide us with updated credit card information. A suite guest may use a different credit card than originally provided for payment of food and beverage orders. If you find any discrepancies or need an additional copy of a receipt, please contact the Suites Manager.

CANCELLATIONS & RAINOUT CONCERNS

Please contact our Suites Manager with your cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the start of the event. No charges will be incurred if you follow this procedure. For rainout concerns, call the office no later than six hours before gates open to discuss options for your event. If the game is canceled prior to the gates opening, the suite holder will NOT be responsible for any food or beverage orders. In this situation, you will be contacted by a Dragons representative. If the game is delayed prior to, or during play, your food and beverages will be delivered as scheduled, unless other plans were made six hours prior to the opening of the gates.

SUITE DELIVERY, EQUIPMENT, & DISPOSABLES

Food and beverage delivery times are scheduled for pre-game, approximately thirty minutes before the scheduled start of the game, or by game time. If you wish to have your food delivered at a time not mentioned above, let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate. All suites are provided with the necessary chafing dishes and disposables including: plates, cutlery, napkins, cups, and appropriate condiments.

Personalized Services

The Dayton Dragons are delighted to assist you in planning any special functions in your suite. You are more than welcome to bring in a special occasion cake for your guest. For functions that are too large to accommodate in your private suite, other facilities are available at Day Air Ballpark. During events, your suite attendant will take any additional food and beverage orders. Should you desire a private server or bartender, we will be happy to provide you with the necessary staff. When ordering a private server or bartender, three business days advanced notice is required. The cost for a private server or bartender services is $75 per event. Please contact our Suites Manager for further information.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS

It is not permissible for suite holders or their guests to bring food and/or beverage into the suites. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance and we will try our best to accommodate any special requests that are made.

Alcohol Policy

To maintain compliance with the rules and regulations of the state of Ohio and Day Air Ballpark, no alcoholic beverages may be brought into or removed from the ballpark. It is the responsibility of the suite owners to ensure that no minors or visibly intoxicated guests consume alcoholic beverages in their suites. The Dayton Dragons reserve the right to check for proper identification and refuse service to guests who appear to be intoxicated. Alcohol sales will be cut off at the top of the 8th inning, or two and a half hours after the scheduled start of the game - whichever occurs first. For special events, such as concerts, the Dayton Dragons Catering Department will inform the guests upon placing their order.

Beverage Par Stock Policy

A beverage par stock is like a hotel mini bar but, you get to choose what goes in it! Though it is not mandatory, many suite holders enjoy knowing their suite refrigerator will always be stocked and ready-to-go with their favorite products. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please contact the Suites Manager. When you arrive, you will find your suite refrigerator is stocked so, feel free to use everything in your refrigerator throughout the course of the game. At the top of the 8th inning, your Suite Attendant will track the beverages in the suite refrigerator. The par stock used will be charged on that particular event’s bill.

Standard Orders

A standard order allows us to have the same favorite snacks, appetizers, even entrees ready and waiting for you in your suite when you arrive, each and every time. You can, of course, still place additional orders for separate events. If you share a suite, we will only use this standard order when you are occupying the suite. Please inform us of any changes made in your schedule throughout the season to avoid being charged for an order you may not receive. For more information, feel free to contact the Dayton Dragons Catering Office.
