925 Silver 925 Silver Alisdiar used sheet silver to make two equal domes, which he then stamped with designs before adding a silver nipple onto the top dome. Then came the hinge (which was somewhat tricky!), followed by the design inside, using round silver wire to make 3 spirals into a flower. The final element was the band, which is embossed with a Greek style pattern and supports the ring through 2 figure of eight shapes on either side. Alisdair used sheet silver to create the box, which has waves on either side to keep the lid in place. The lid has inlaid shell on the top and silver waves on the inside. There is also inlaid shell at the bottom of the box and another waves style pattern embossed on the band.
To open the lid, one has to push directly upwards onto the lever but be warned... if you accidentally rub it, a Genie might appear!
