If you're like one of millions of people, you've shopped at Amazon at least once in your life. And why not? They often have great deals, and they offer free ground shipping on orders over $25, as long as the products purchased aren't from 3rd party retailers. It's also quite possible that you like to purchase products compulsively when you find a good deal. It's the people that perform this kind of knee-jerk online purchasing that this is written for. There are plenty of "deal sites" that can fuel your net purchasing addiction -- a simple Google search for "deal website" turns up more than a few. But you have to wonder, how do those websites get their deals? Sure, they can get them from other deal websites, but those deals obviously have to originate somewhere. It's way too labor-intensive to simply sift through all of the products and prices contained within each online store. Amazon has some excellent sorting capabilities, with subcategories of subcategories of subcategories and on and on. This really helps you pinpoint the exact product you need, especially when coupled with the "Sort by Price" function. But what if you could search for products in a particular category by the amount that they've been discounted? With the techniques you'll learn today, you're going to be able to do just that. I'm sure you've found yourself digging through the discount bins at your favorite stores before, and loved every second of it. The search, the find, and the satisfaction of finding a great deal.. that's what bargain hunting is all about. Imagine deal finding, just like rummaging through a great bargain bin, from the comfort of your own home. Also imagine that bargain bin has superb products, and thousands of them. More than you could ever want, even. Well, stop imagining, and start buying. Ready to learn how to search for products by how good of a deal they are? Let's do it. Step 1. Go to Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) Step 2. Choose a category, and perform a search. Step 3. Feel great knowing you're about to perform the last step. Step 4. Go to the address bar in your browser, and append "&pct-off=60-90" to the URL. That's it. The "60-90" means 60%-90% off. You can replace those numbers with whatever you want, but I've found that 60% to 90% is a pretty good range. There are other neat things you can append to the URL to perform more specific searches, but those are more complicated and beyond the scope of this article.

What if you could perform these searches without doing any modification of the URL in the address bar? Guess what: you can. There are websites such as WonderfulProject.com that provide this service for free, and do all of the work for you. The Wonderful Project Amazon search tool even works for the Canadian and United Kingdom versions of Amazon. You can discriminate by percent off, price range, non-3rd party deals, and more. The only limit is your pocketbook. Happy deal hunting!

Sharla Hansen is the founder and creator of WonderfulProject.com. Wonderful Project is an Amazon deal finding search tool that lets you search for Amazon.com products by the amount they've been discounted. For example, if you're looking for a deal on Amazon video games, you can search the "Computers & Video Games" category for items discounted 60 to 90 percent off. Here's the bottom line: when it comes to finding great Amazon deals, Wonderful Project is where you want to be.
