Interior Design House 39 is a space that celebrates human scale, light and simplicity. Natural elements are incorporated throughout – from the views of the pool and garden sweeping into the lounge and dining areas, to natural stone and sunlight being invited into the interior through the large windows. This house opens up the inside to the outside – and invites the outside in. It celebrates nature and light. These natural elements are carried through in choices of interior furnishings and finishes – simple, natural yet contemporary interior elements and colours induce a sense of calm and serenity. This house is a subtle statement of style and grace.

Exterior Design Architecture plays a fundamental role as mediator in the relationship between man and nature. Nature cannot be separated from architecture and our relationship with it and experience of it is pivotal to our well being and to our state of mind. This home is designed as a series of frames through which the beautiful natural surroundings are experienced. The intention is to consistently keep the occupant aware of the natural context in which the home sits, to constantly connect the occupant with their surroundings visually through articulating views and physically through folding and sliding doors. We believe the way light is brought into the home and the palette of materials, colours and textures assist in making the home feel absolutely contextual and appropriate in its environment. When you add all these elements together we feel this house fits the South African and Serengeti lifestyle like a glove.
